**Q: How many lbs of sand is recommended to fill?**
A: A 25 lb bag should do it . It’s a great toy. You can use the play sand that comes in colors and can be used indoors as well.

**Q: I see there is a gap at the top of the ramp, when cover is flipped on.  How does sandbox prevent water, insects & worms from getting through gap?**
A: When the lid is on the sandbox, the lid will keep out most of the water although some water may still get inside as it is not waterproof.

**Q: Does the sand contain silica?**
A: The sand is purchased separately and is not included with the sandbox.
