This HP Smart Tank Printer All In One is good value
This HP Smart Tank Printer All In One is great value, we had some problems initially with Connectivity dropping out but the system has since stabilised and starts up instantly, the Scanner is easy to use, quick, Printing while scanning to save time, the Print Black and Colour is of the Highest Quality and Ink Tanks more than we will need for at least a year, even two, cost of replacement incomparable to other designs, one each of colour, two black, we will make real savings on Ink, the Ink Level Indicators on the front a good idea, well worth the money, only tip we recommend persevering if the connectivity issue presents itself, stick with it till it sorts itself out.

Excellent value for money printer
Easy to setup, robust and good quality printing. Much better than other brand eco tank printer I tried. This will save me £100s on ink compared to my old inkjet cartridge printer, I should have changed years ago.

Excellent printer but difficult to set up
The printer itself deserves 5 stars. It’s very efficient, fast and gives excellent results. The ink tanks are easy to fill and tremendous value for money. It’s a neat, small and attractive object in my office space. However, first you have to set it up and that’s no mean feat. I have always bought HP printers and I have an HP computer so you would think it would be a shoe-in. Not so. I found the explanations unbelievably woolly and the process unnecessarily complicated. After many unsuccessful attempts to link it to my computer, it eventually worked but I have no idea why. However, if you can get past that problem, I would recommend that printer.

It did not worked and returned
It is delivered the next day. It looks good but did not work. I could not set up the printer because the carriage did not move to let me place the printheads and displayed an empty ink warning although all ink tanks were full. I reached HP support, and they were helpful but it did not work and they suggested a replacement of the product.

Easy great printer for the price
Great printer. The ink is so cheap. I have used this for a lot of printing I have had to do recently and this is absolutely brilliant. The app for this makes this so easy to use. Definitely worth it.

Tempted to buy another
I have a couple of HP smart tank printers. I'm happy with both. This one prints auto duplex and I print on 200gsm card. I think I have even done 300gsm duplex on it, but I now only use my HP559 printer to print on 300gsm card. Sometimes this printer crashes during a 80 sheet job, which is a bit annoying. But I'm still tempted to buy another one or two. I think it's more economical than any laserjet printer. I have a HP laserjet (150nw) printer that I gave up on because it struggles with card and also because the toner cartridges are very expensive. The print quality for this printer has so far been very excellent. The printheads on my HP559 printer regularly need manual cleaning. The printheads on this one can't be cleaned (as far as I know) manually or automatically, but so far I haven't needed to. I've used it many times, thousands of sheets, no lines due to blocked nozzles (unlike the 559).

Quality printing, easy set up
This is my first ink jet printer having always splashed out on costly cartridges in the past I thought I’d try this. If it lasts as long it says , I’ll get my money back in saved ink purchases in no time. Biggest plus was it’s so easy to set up with the HP app. It literally has an idiot guide on line to take you through every step. I needed to turn off my router then turn on again just once to enable the Wi Fi connection , but that’s easy to do and the app suggests it for you and it works . Just refreshes the link. The ink was easy to fill , no mess at all. Whole set up from opening the box no more than 10 minutes. Looking forward to using it 👍

HP 28B54A Smart Tank 7005 - Read the Printer setup guide before doing anything else
This is a neat printer that has the same footprint as my last one a HP8024 which suffered from a faulty printhead (not replaceable). Mains lead is a little on the short side. The printer has two replaceable print heads which you fit as part of the installation process. It is much quieter than my previous printer and prints reasonably quickly. Most of the negative reviews of this product are due to not following the setup guide. Be warned the WIFI will not work if you do not follow the guide and guess. That being said you install HP Smart and use this to guide you through the setup process which it does very well. It starts by getting the printer connected to your WIFI and then takes you through filling the ink tanks and installing the print heads. It finally finishes with calibration. The printer can be controlled and maintained via HP Smart, which is good because using the controls on the printer itself is not intuitive for maintenance tasks such as cleaning the printheads. If you work out the cost of 3 years of HP Instant Ink compared to the three year ink supply that comes with the printer, you are getting the printer itself for around £20.
