Not dependable. Difficult to get it set the way you want. Doesn't hold charge for very long. (UPDATE) Company sent a new one at no charge! So far so good.

I placed three of these around a cabin I have in the woods, they still get plenty of sunlight but none of the three are really operational. One went up and it just had a solid blue light throughout the day and finally went dark. One was picking up motion way beyond the distance advertised but after a day it failed to work at all. But, when it did work the alarm was so quiet no one would have heard it but an individual next to it. I measured the loudness using an app and it came in at 100 decibels if the device was touching the alarm speaker. The ambient noise alone was 60. So ... not substantially louder at any distance. Again though, this was only for the first day that it worked. The third one I placed out there never showed a light or made a sound. These have been out for about 3 days and at this point none function as described. I did press the only button on the devices several times seeing if it might cycle through modes but the behavior of each device remanded the same regardless of me pressing the button. I bought 8 regular white motion sensor lights for much less from another seller on Amazon at the same time and all of them do a much better job of alerting me of motion in the woods, as they light up at least.

GOT stuck ON! third TIME IT WENT OFF! SWITCH QUIT WORKING. HAD TO TAKE IT APART AND CUT BATTERY WIRE TO SHUT IT OFF! Re-soldered. NOT going to work again. I think the DEW KILLED IT! DEFINITELY NOT IP65 as claimed! THERE WERE ZERO WEATHER GASKETS! NOT 100DB! As claimed. TOTAL JUNK! SHOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED BETTER FOR 13 BUCKS?

Solar oppressed, turned on right away. Alarm sounds off and lights flash. Good for price spent. Will do for now…

Bought to try and scare the deer away from the flowers. Seems to work. Not too loud that it wakes up the neighbors. Like the optional modes.

I've had at least 8 people back out of my neighbor's driveway and hit my mailbox. I bought this to alert them so hopefully it won't be hit again. This is the second type of motion sensor light I tried. The first one didn't work out. This one works fine when it works. The problem is that it defaults to "Off" every day when the battery runs down. Every afternoon or night when I go out and check it I have to turn it back on. This is not what I expected. It should stay turned on once you turn it on and come back on when the solar battery is charged.

These Work ! Even in low sunshine mine work and the options of using different color options of a sound is awesome Super bright at night too Sensor is from a good distance Mine didn’t come with a remote though ???

Works good even in the daytime.
