Review: Use Within Reason - I have a Galaxy Book that comes with an S Pen that's magnetic for sticking to the laptop. Thing is, I don't always want it there, and was looking to put some metal strips in hidden spots around my desk to keep it secure. This works perfectly! The adhesive is plenty sticky for my needs, and the S Pen has a really strong magnet, so no issues with it sticking to the metal. I have this stuck to the underside of a couple of shelves and it work great. I even stuck some of the thin scrap pieces in different spots because it works so well, I don't really need much. I also like that I can easily cut it with a scissors, which I was concerned about. I do have a few notes though. If you have issues with the magnets sliding off, make sure you take the plastic film off of the front. The protective plastic is slick and removing it reveals a more matte texture. Also this will only work as well as what kind of magnets you have, kind of like how some fridge magnets work better than others. If it's still sliding, neodymium magnets are cheap on desertcart or even just at your local hardware store. Then as far as the adhesive goes, I didn't have issues, but I will say that I've never liked foam adhesive in general. It's very easy to pull at the wrong bit trying to get the film off and end up pulling the foam off itself. Be careful! Once you get the film off though, it's plenty sticky. Honestly great product all around.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would it hold a very large (3ftx4ft) magnet on a vehicle that isn’t metal?**
A: as long as you cut multiple strips, and long enough strips, I don't see why not. But remember,  it is tape, and the adhesive is strong and may damage paint on car.

**Q: I want to adhere this to a large panel on the side of our built in fridge am i making a mistake? if i ever want to remove it i don’t want it to ruin**
A: Use Goo Gone. Give it time. I keep an empty aluminum disposable pan under my sink to remove most labels. Isopropyl alcohol is for the bits remaining. You’ll need to keep reapplying the Goo Gone on a vertical surface. 

I swear- why don’t people know about Goo Gone? Isopropyl alcohol doesn’t work.

**Q: How easy to remove the tape?  Any residue on the wall?**
A: I have to disagree with the other answers — I just removed strips of this from two different surfaces (varnished wood and painted drywall) and removing the residue wasn’t trivial.

The tape itself is sharp, so you ideally want a metal paint scraper to get it started. Once started, the actual peeling is easy because the tape is metal and can’t be ripped. The backing has an intermediate foam layer though that disintegrates when you peel it off. The residue from this is very strong — I couldn’t get it off cleanly by hand with either 70% isopropyl alcohol or with Goof Off spray. I eventually had to get out my power drill with a nylon brush attachment. Even then it left a faint outline of the glue residue on both surfaces.

**Q: How strongly will a magnet stick to this?**
A: I used it a craft carnival for magnet display. It worked perfectly. I'm not sure what you need it for, but is the best magnetic "tape, sheet" out there. I also use Neodymium magnets, which are strong also.

Very good and strong but a little too strong, if you place the sticky part of the tape onto a surface and want to take it off, you cannot put it back anywhere else because it crinkles and will never be smooth again. But it's magnetic strength is great.
