Review: Works perfectly up to 9 Amps! - I bought the Tobsun EA50-5V 50W DC-DC converter and built a test fixture to see how it performed. I was pleasantly surprised! With no load the output voltage was 5.08V. With loads from 1 Amp to 9 Amps the output was a solid 4.96 volts. At no time did the module temperature exceed 42 degrees C (about 107 degrees F). The only problem occurred when attempting to draw 10 Amps from the converter. At that point the output voltage dropped to 4.28V. Still, the overall performance was much better than I expected.

I bought the Tobsun EA50-5V 50W DC-DC converter and built a test fixture to see how it performed. I was pleasantly surprised! With no load the output voltage was 5.08V.
