Saved my puppy’s life! My puppy likes it unlike collars. My 6 pound puppy was attacked by 2 dogs on a walk. Because there only one-two seconds to get my puppy out of harm’s way, my husband had to unfortunately pick her up by her harness vs properly picking her up. She didn’t suffer any ill effects though. She was not sore or anything after. (Note: I don’t recommend lifting a dog just by the leash and harness unless it’s a life or death situation.)

I am going to write this a four as it works as expected. I have purchased this product previously in a different color, but wanted a new color because people kept asking me if my dog was a girl or a boy. I chose this pink because in the photo it looked like it was a light baby pink unfortunately it is not really pink at all. It is coral which is not a color I would have chosen.

Absolutely five stars for this product. I have gone through so many harnesses for my bold and independent 15lb yorkie/jack russell terrier. THIS HARNESS WORKS! I am confident she can't weasle her way out to escape. It's easy to put on and very secure. It's comfy for her to wear too. I am a loyal customer and will only purchase this harness in future!!

I bought this harness for my 8 lb slippery puppy. As he began to grow out of it, I had a really hard time getting the clasp to open so I could release the hook and loop closure. I wound up cutting the clasp off with scissors. The next size is too big for him to wear right now, and I am resigned to having to cut that one off, too.The harness is sturdy, the reflection tape is really good -- but for baths or changing sizes the difficulty with releasing the clasp is something you'll have to consider. I will use the next size but won't count on it being a long-term thing. When he outgrows the next size I will cut it off and look for something easier to put on and take off.

The media could not be loaded. This harness in size XL is perfect for my adult Frenchie! Miss Tonic is nearly 10 years old and 26 pounds. Following manufacturer instructions, I measured her neck at 15 inches around, and the widest part of her chest (at her armpits) at 23 inches around. You can see from photos that she's relatively long and lean as Frenchies go (our other girl is a full-on, compact potato shape). After trying 5 other harnesses in various sizes that fit really poorly, this one is perfect! Not too tight, but totally secure. She's not the type to try and escape her harness, but I can tell you she'd never be able to wrangle out of this one if she did try. Leg openings are generous and do not rub or restrict her movement. The neck opening is also the right size and position so that it doesn't strangle her in any way. Excellent construction. Fabric breathes, and seams are all smooth against her body. Nice bit of reflective trim on the outside. The step-in style is a breeze to get on and off. Her old harness went over her head and she didn't love that. There isn't a ton of velcro area under the "buckle" closure that you can use to adjust the fit, so if you are unsure, order two sizes and get it just right. Love this harness!
