This is an important speaker because it has a rare design that matches exactly what I need. Let me explain. Unlike other small speakers that I plug or bluetooth into my mac, this one truly has a separate volume control and amplifier. All other small speakers I've tried, whether wired or bluetooth, if you use the volume control on the device, that simply changes the volume setting on my computer. So they have a fixed volume and use the computer to change what I hear.But with this one, if I turn its volume up or down using the volume nob on the unit, the volume on the computer does not change but the unit does. This is really important because I often have the volume on my computer set all the way to full volume. And then I get a person on a Youtube video (or Zoom participant) who is talking too low in volume, even for my computer. On most speakers I am stuck. There is no way to go higher. But with this speaker, I can still crank the volume up a LOT. This is really, really, important. I do a lot of Zoom calls with the participants who are hard to hear so I am glad I can turn this up beyond computer max. And in general, I like being able to control the speaker separate from the computer vol control.The sound quality is excellent btw. Surprisingly great sound for the price. Just the right amount of restrained bass, not too boomy, like most external speakers.Note, this next point is critical. You need to be aware of what you are buying and how you plug it in. I bought the less expensive one, the one that comes with a hard-wired headphone jack wire to provide the sound input (plugs into your computer headphone jack) and also comes with a separate hardwired USB wire to provide power (plugs into any powered USB-A source). So with this model, you must use that headphone wire to get sound, which is exactly what I wanted (I have a desktop mac). So no bluetooth and no USB A sound input. Rather, the accompanying USB A cord on this unit is for power and power only, not for sound. So you'll need to plug it in too. Again, you will have to plug both the headphone jack and the USB cord in. Keep that in mind. That worked perfect for my needs but your needs may vary.

Product sounds great. It was easy to set up and it fits perfectly on my desk not to big not to small. Great for the price.

Just what I needed for listening to music and training videos at work. I appreciate you can turn off the RGB lighting. Light weight and easy to set up. Sound quality is perfect for casual listening.

I've had this for almost 2 years now - if you're looking for a functional and cheap soundbar just get this one.It's plug & play, no issues connecting ever. If windows needs to recognize the device you can set that up, or just un/replug the USB.Pros:- compact and very lightweight. easy to pick up and move around as needed; easy to slip into a suitcase or laptop backpack for travel.- I have never, ever turned my sound up more than halfway. My pc is at half volume, and the soundbar is set at 1/4 to 1/2 volume all the time. If I turned both to max you'd probably break the speaker it would be so loud. You won't have trouble with output- price is greatThe only Con:- at some point the LED lights unsynced and show different colors. TBH this is purely cosmetic and LED lights are bound to unsync at some point, especially when powered on and off frequently. It doesn't bother me at all.Seriously if you just need a cheap speaker, you likely can't go wrong with this one. After almost 2 years of use I have no need or interest in getting a different one.

Manufacturing quality is great. Sound quality is better than expected for the price. Plenty of clean loud volume with only a 5 Volt supply. Just what I needed. Others in this price range will limit max volume or exhibit clipping. It needs a power supply that can deliver a couple of amps. Hey, power is Volts times Amps! This one delivers!

Okay I have had this for a bit and now getting around to writing a review. I wanted to wait until I had used it for a period before giving my review. Sound, look and volume control, great. I love the LED feature you can turn on and off. While it lasted the sound was clear and I had no problems. Unfortunately, with just about 2 years of use it now makes this sound, not crackling like static, but as though you are plugging it in and out of the computer. Now the problem is, at the beginning it did not happen every day, nor frequently, now the sound is frequent every time it is used and with daily use I have to buy another one as it is annoying.As I said great speaker, it looks great, it fits my aesthetics, but I have had more basic speakers last 5+ years only changed them out because of aesthetics.

I was so excited to get this speaker, I couldn't believe that it was at the door already, just order it yesterday. Naturally I wanted it hooked up right away, well this 80 yr old isn't that computer savey. I thought what am I doing wrong, it can't be that hard to hook up. After thinking I can't figure this out I Facebooked my grandson to help me, (what is G-ma doing wrong)? With a couple of settings in the volume control in the computer it was doing it's thing. My grandson must be the smarted computer guy around. It was so simple to do. I love my music loud and this is amazing. I am so pleased with this speaker for the money. I like my music LOUD and it does just that. I hope you enjoy your speaker as much as I am going to be enjoying mine.

Very basic speakers. No bass to speak of. Fairly short cord. No bluetooth. Leds change colors, but not together at the same time. A little thing. Good volume dial, and connection for headsets on the speakers cuts the speakers out when headset plugged in.
