Got it so I could fly over water

It works great. The Bluetooth tends to cut out when my watch goes underwater which is somewhat problematic so as you take a stroke it cuts out as your arm comes out it goes back in a bit annoying for swimming. But works in other situation‘s too. Great for walking

This looked too good to be true. Nice packaging and after initial review found the sled in a small box. The plastic holders do not look like they will hold up for them river, bay, and Gulf of Mexico work I need this for. The foam is nothing more than a foam pole cut into sections. I’ll be testing this on a river, creeks, and over a lake in next two months and report back on durability.

Great products! I've used the regular landing gear before on my other drone and looking forward to using the floating landing gear.

It can be used alone, but limits what other attachments and accessories can be used. For example, the camera protection shield

I have only used it once over water.Pro's - Easy assembly. I like that it provides a stable platform and raises clearance from the bottom to the surface of the water. It does float and support the weight of the Mavic Air 2S. If you are concerned about flying over water this will probably save your drone but it may get wet if it hits hard or in rough water.Con's - It changes the aerodynamic flight characteristics. Winds affect its more severely. It requires more power and runs the battery down faster. It does add to the total weight and lifting capabilities. Handling is balky but manageable. But, it might save you when flying over water. I do not use it unless I am over water. Not sure how long I will see the benefit based on the effect on battery life and performance.
