NIV, Adventure Bible, Paperback, Full Color

This is a great Bible for a young child who is ready for a "real" Bible. The illustrations and extra explanatory blurbs are great for making the text understandable for a beginner. We purchased this as a gift for a friend of my son's who wanted his own Bible and it was a great choice.

Love the Bible’s we received. They are gifts to families in our area. Half the shipment arrived as expected, second half came a few days later—the only hiccup.

I got these to give out to our sunday school students who graduated this year. I meant to order the hardcover version but ended up with these by mistake. Turns out, the parents actually preferred the lighter ones for their kids so we decided to keep them. Our students were excited to get their own new bibles, and it all worked out perfectly! :)

This Bible is easy to read and with clarity. I am a man in my 50's and enjoy this book. It's a good book for all ages.

Grandkids are loving this so far. They actually ask to read more every time they visit.

There are a lot of reviews on here written as if the Bible were a children's story, and as Christians we know it is not. For those of you looking to truly enhance your child's understanding of the Bible as written, this is a great book to start with. It is a perfect next step, whether they are reading on their own, or with you (we read it with our 6 yo). It is paired down for clarity and understanding, but the content is not watered down, and it's a great transition, and study tool to help young believers dive into the word of God.

My 8 year old loves this Bible. Lots of interactive and full colour pages to help with comprehension. I love that it is her book of choice right now.

I have been eyeing this bible for quite some time and was waiting for it to go on sale and I purchased it at the right time!! ($4 sale) My kids love the “ Live It” highlight area in the bible where it highlights a verse and then helps them how to apply it in action. They also look forward to the memory verse section “Words to Treausre!” I’m personally using one for the week so they can memorize and go from there. My kids are still young, I do a lot of the explaining and helping them read but thsi will be perfect for when they get older and can read more fluently on their own! I love that for each book of the Bible it explains Who wrote the book, why it was written, what happens in the book. What do you learn from the book? Who is the key person in the book, when did it happen and where did it happen and then finally what are some of the stories in the book!!! Amazing‼️ I am curious on what the Early readers version is like as I do like the NIRV version for them to understand more easily. Will look into that. Overall, Bible is excellent, colourful and the kids are excited to have their own personal bibles. Definetly worth it‼️
