does it fit 2014 nissan altima s 2.5

It fits my 2013 Altima and there were no major changes to the 2014 so I'm sure it will fit.

Is this any better than the dealership version, or about the same?

When I removed the old one, I looked at it and the replacement looked exactly like the original. Other than a visual inspection, I can not attest to the materials and quality other than what I saw. I can tell you that this filter is about half the price of the one offered by the dealer.
