My husband has Bronchiectasis and often suffers from a build up of mucus in his lungs. His usual way of dealing with it was to lie on his side to drain some fluid away and clear it out.When I bought this device, we were unsure as to how effective it would be, having never used anything of it's kind before.We were not disappointed !Since using it, hubby has been able to breathe more fully and feels better for it.He uses the device most mornings before getting up and it is becoming a routine which is not unpleasant and seems to be helping enormously.The mouthpiece is easily detached from the device for cleaning and the little bag provided makes it easy to store handily in a drawer.We were so impressed with the device we have purchased another for my elderly father too.Compared to others on the market, this little device is competitively priced and well worth the money !

So i was asked to write an honest review of the Mucas Clearing device.My Story: I am prone to chest infections. Every time i get a cold, 80% of the time it will develop into a chest infection. I suffer with Asthma, so the two combined sometime result in a very heavy chest with breathing struggles.Last year i developed a particularly bad chest infection that lasted 3 months in total. Antibiotics and Steroids a plenty and the problem did not resolve quickly. I bought this device as one of my last ditch attempts to clear the mucas.So, does it work. Well yes, it certainly helps, though i would say the main factor in clearing the infection was a heavy weight inhaler. The mucas device works by resonating, causing a vibration through your chest as you blow out through the device. The challenge is getting the device and your body into the right position to maximise the vibrations. This is rather tricky and requires a lot of moving around and positioning to get it to work - but you know when you have it as the vibrations feel quite deep in your chest.The device itself comes with 2 balls that can be interchanged for different users, generally driven by age. It comes in a bag which is useful for storage.Would i recommend it, well yes. It does work. You could try deep breathing exercises which would be similar, but this device certainly has a vibration impact to the chest that you cant achieve yourself. It is rather expensive for what it is, but i guess that's in part to the costs across medical devices and equipment.

Now then, got this for the old man. he has COPD and asthma. He struggles to clear his lungs. When he laughs he starts a long coughing fit. He had stopped going out because the coughing was so bad. This device has really helped him. You do need to hold the device at the correct angle, but that is easy. He uses it without the small ball, as he couldn't do it with it in. Once we took the small ball out it was great. He can now induce a cough at will. And stubborn mucus is removed. He has only had it a few days and he sounds much better. He says he has slept right through for the first time in years. He is brighter and less tired. It's great.

I bought this as a more affordable alternative to some of the big name brands, as I was not persuaded that this might be the answer to my needs. The good news is that it seems well-made, and the ball-bearings are nice and heavy.In use, it is actually not that easy to get the angle and air-pressure right - you have to keep experimenting and practicing. It certainly does 'something' when you get things right, you can feel it in your airways. I am just not entirely convinced that the thing it does is actually making a difference. Also, it seems to need rinsing quite often.Anyway, I shall persevere. Because perseverance is good, right?

I like the way it is easy to clean and simple to use . The pouch is handy to take with you if you need to use it when you are out for a walk etc . It is good value for money so I would recommend it . Amazing how it clears my chest and helps me to breath easier . I would reccomend it anyone with mucus problems .

This has been a lifesaver for me, I quit smoking 10 years ago but still vape, fed up of that... this product has definitely helped, 10 to 20 hard long blows on this, I don't feel like vaping, feels like training your lungs.I've noticed about 10 minutes after using this, I need to blow my nose, crazy amounts come out, then I can breathe real clear, great device 😎👍

Once you master its use this resonant ball-bearing system really does help bring up the phlegm. I have diagnosed brochiectosis but I'm quite sure it would be of use for other respiratory problems as well. Be patient with it and persevere!

Premetto che non può sostituire i farmaci ma contribuisce a litarne l'utilizzo,nel mio caso avendo asma allergica mi è molto utile nel litare l'uso di ventolin da 5 volte al giorno a 1 volta prima di dormire (questo è il mio caso non può essere uguale per tutti),il compito principale è quello di eliminare il catarro in eccesso liberando i polmoni grazie alla pressione positiva e nel tempo stesso rinforzarli.
