Gillette Wilkinson Sword Double Edge Razor Blades (Pack Of 2), Men

They are fine blades with a decent amount of sharpness. I use it with merkur 34c and they give a close shave with two passes.

Good product for a reasonable price

The Wilkinson Sword is a really great blade to start wet shaving with. It is very middle-of-the-road between sharpness and smoothness, not as aggressive as the Feather blades and not too mild as to not work at all. The Sword should perform admirably for most people, if paired with a medium to mild razor. It takes off a lot of growth in just one pass. But a true BBS requires at least two passes (one with, one against the grain). The blades are also dirt cheap. 230 for a 100 blade pack (2 packs of 5 tucks of 10 blades each), which is 2.3 Rs. per blade. Each blade gives me 3 good shaves, with 3 passes for almost every shave. If my estimate is correct, this 100 pack should last me nearly a year. I personally prefer the Gillette 7 o' clock Permasharp (green) in my current razor, I will switch back to the Wilkinson Sword for any new razors that I buy.

After using this I realized that SMOOTHNESS is what you want.Over-Sharpness is harshness. Sharpness is overrated.This blade is butter smooth, not sharp. hence your skin feels great and needs less after shave lotion !

I was looking for a blade with extra sharpness for wet shaving as I suffer from skin rashes. Even at the first use, I am still getting skin rashes so it doesn't serve my purpose. Giving it 3 stars due to that.

The blade is very good at the price. I have used feather blade and when compared with it the Wilkinson blade is not as sharp but I don't think its reqired. This one blade works perfectly for 4 shaves. The seller charges a delivery fee but I don't think one should complain as these blades are not easily available atleast in Mumbai. Go for it.
