The kit worked fine, the install was easy by the way. I even used the other screw driver to fix some older controllers. The pry tool isn’t that good and almost broke and couldn’t pry off the back grips. I had to use a flathead with a microfiber cloth over it to mitigate scratching. The pry tool is pretty bent, the screw driver heads started to wear out too. It’s a great kit for a quick fix and limited-use.

As others have mentioned the pry tool is garbage but the part itself is exactly what you need to get the bumpers working again. Son dropped my controller and a plastic tab under the button busted. Simple under 5 minute fix. Probably order a few to have as a backup just in case.

Fit the controller perfectly. Not going to last forever as the plastic will break but this replacement is just as good as the one that broke. A good product. Thanks.

I got an Xbox Series X in the Spring of 2022 and already the original controller and a replacement have failed, for the same reason - the right bumper button stopped working (Dark Souls - you're pushing the right bumper button almost continuously). This is because the bumper assembly, which incorporates both bumpers is cheaply made plastic (planned obsolescence is my guess - they want you to buy controllers). Behind the bumper is a pin, which engages the electrical switch inside the controller). In my case, the pin broke off. This product includes the bumper assembly and the front plate, which I didn't need. It also includes two screwdrivers, one of which fits the screws on the controller (five screws total must be removed and reinstalled to do the repair). The pry bar included in the set is useless, as it's not stiff enough or thin enough to fit into the gaps where it's intended to be used. I used a butter knife. Way cheaper than $50 or so for a new controller to replace one that's still 99% functional.

One of the bumper buttons wore out and wouldn't spring back. This kit replaced the worn out part and included the specialized tools to make installation easy. Highly recommended to give your controller longer life.

1st the buttons are exact same quality color and look of the original buttons can't tell them apart the tools work great I didn't find the blue pry tool to be useful I used a butter knife to pop the panels off they work look good and were easy to install.

This doesn't fit exactly right, I had to file extra plastic down and use an exacto knife to remove extra material right next to the outer bumpers to make it fit on my original series x controller, its took 10 minutes to clean it up so it's not that big of a deal but it shows it wasn't made as an exact replacement, for 10 dollars it's not bad but it could have been made with better specs. If you buy look closely at the outer bumper area or it will only have a straight click instead of being able to click from the edge like the original and it will be a harder press which could be annoying to some

Literally everything I needed to fix my unresponsive RB button. Saved me 60$ for a new controller. Highly recommend you give this a shot if you find that your bumpers aren't working and you find that this plastic piece has cracked.
