Bellissimo libro di pittore poco conosciuto e da rivalutare. Non tutte le opere sono presentate, ma quelle raccolte sono sufficienti per farsi un'idea soprattutto per chi ama temi marinari dell'800. Testo in inglese

If you are lucky enough find copy of this book new, buy it there are not many around.Finding books with good reproductions concerning this painter is very difficult.Sadly some the prints had bad colouring and the colours were wrong. I am Turner fan and have known this painter for long time. Good books on him are almost impossible to find. Packaging and delivery where suburb. It is big heavy book and it arrived in perfect condition. New!

Un libro que podría ser extraordinario por su interés y formato se queda en nada por la mala calidad de las reproducciones. Gran parte de las fotografías se imprimen viradas al azul y oscurecidas, con una pérdida importante de detalles. No se pueden apreciar los colores originales de los cuadros ni los sutiles cambios de tonalidad. En la web de Sotheby's se pueden ver buenas fotos de los mismos cuadros cuando se subastaron y comparar. Ha sido una decepción y lo he tenido que devolver.Si se volviera a imprimir con mejor calidad, sin duda, lo compraría de nuevo.
