Best epoxy I have ever used
I have tried a number of different epoxies over many years, and this is the best one I have found. Measuring and mixing is easy, but the end result - a strong bond that holds up for different types of surfaces, is great.

Something changed recently--very, very hot during cure, damaged parts
I've been using PC Clear for a few years, always on the same product I make. Amazon says I've purchased over 20 of the 50ml cartridges. Never had an issue, until recently. The last 5 cartridges of this got so hot during cure they destroyed my parts, while I watched. The epoxy joint got so hot it melted the plastic substrates and I could not touch them during cure. One actually smoked a little. I'm an engineer, and have been using industrial and consumer epoxies for over 20 years. Even went to 4 seminars on adhesives by 3M and other reps over the years. I know how to do this. Something recently changed with either their formula or I just got 5 cartridges from a bad batch. Controlled environment for room temperature and humidity, controlled epoxy temperature, applied in the exact same manner by the same person—me. And it destroyed 7 sets of parts I was bonding, while I watched in horror and couldn’t do anything about it. At a parts cost of $38 plus an hour labor prep EACH. With labor that’s about $500 I just lost, plus the 2 weeks delay for the purchased parts. These go into a product I sell and now my customers will be upset. I’m switching to 3M. Twice as expensive, but their consistency can’t be beat. It would have been much cheaper in the long run.

Runs out and drips like a heavy slime.
The claim that this epoxy will not sag or drip is just not true. Otherwise I would have given it a five. If you are installing overhead iron balusters you will experience two unfortunate events. The first is that the epoxy will run out and drip down everything like thick slime. I have it on my balusters, my newly painted shoe and the floor. Second, there are no cleanup instructions on the package anywhere. From experience I know that Acetone will emulsify the epoxy and the paint. I have a lot of work ahead of me now to clean up the mess because when the description said, "will not sag or drip" I believed it. Don't you. Once cured the stuff is strong as steel.
