We purchased this Galaxy Projector for our daughter. She has just moved into her own room and was eager to have star lights just like her brother. This projector turned out to be a big hit and she uses it every day! Our daughter absolutely loves changing the colors and gazing at the stars as she falls asleep at night. It's so comforting to see her enjoying it so much. We also appreciate the flexibility of the projector, as we can easily move it around in the stand to cover the entire ceiling with stars and lights. The lights and colors are pretty good quality and really makes the room look nice. Also, the cord is a decent length which helps! In terms of quality, this is a pretty good projector. We used to play Instrumental Lullabies on Alexa at night but didn't have an extra Alexa for her room. Fortunately, the Galaxy Projector comes with Bluetooth and song options, so we can play her favorite songs directly from the projector. She loves this feature! Overall, we are great fans of this product. It was very easy to set up and comes with a remote control, making it even more convenient to use. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality star projector.

OK... I almost didn't order this reading some reviews. One in particular stated that there are only four different settings. This is user error. The buttons on the unit only provide a few functions, you can access all the functions with the remote control. It isn't perfect, but it's not very expensive. People complained about the speaker. I mean, come on, it's a tiny little unit, not something meant for a dance party. Another review stated you could not turn off the blue tooth. Yes you can turn off the blue tooth, and it has a chime that lets you know when it is on. It's the design of bluetooth, it is discoverable. If you aren't connected, someone else can connect... Be smart... Again, user error. Another review talked about it being dangerous to eyesight?!?! It should not be directed anywhere at line of sight, if it is relocate it. Even then, was this reviewer staring into it? Bizarre. I got this to put in my 6 year olds bedroom when he falls asleep. I wondered if it would keep him awake especially because even at the lowest setting it is pretty bright... Nope! He falls right asleep. It is portable, and I we brought it into my bedroom for him to crawl in bed with me and enjoy. I have netting hanging above and around my bed. This was amazing, the stars which are green BTW showed on the mosquito netting and made it appear as if we were surrounded by them. Guess who now has the same netting around his bed?!? The sound feature is a bit strange in selection, yes there is a barking dog on one and a mooing cow on another. My son thinks it's hilarious. Am I putting it on for him to sleep? Of course not, there's plenty to choose from. Here's an idea, don't select those strange ones. Why do you even need to complain about it? Critical side/cons... The gradual on/off of the "stars" isn't exactly smooth. You can't select just the nebula. It is stars on or gradual on/off but no off. I do wonder if it is supposed to have a nebula only option and stars off and my remote or unit is missing that "prompt?" The timer function can be hard to access, it gives you a chime to let you know. If you are connected via bluetooth and attempt to turn off the projector, it will not turn off until you disconnect. The pros of this thing far far outweigh the cons considering the price. It is fun, my son loves it saying it is the best "night light" ever. I'm honestly considering one for my room. And yeah, I might look for a fancier one with more bells and whistles and maybe a realistic star and galaxy projection. And yeah, if I do will I be paying a lot more? Absolutely. I'll probably just get another one of these. Totally worth every penny. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they are mostly nonsense.

The projector is quiet, as in silent. The lights are pretty and create a soothing atmosphere. And the whole thing looks like a cool dino egg instead of some weird plastic thing, so it’s aesthetically pleasing as well!! It has several color options but I like it on blue the best. I also love that it has a little egg cover to make it into a nightlight instead. The lights cover most of the ceiling and 2 walls of my living room. (About 22’ x 16’) I’d recommend getting 2 and setting them up in opposite corners diagonally for the best effect or for large rooms. Speaker works surprisingly well. Didn’t expect that from this little guy. (I play quiet stuff like fire crackles, crickets, ocean waves, and some sleepy classical musics.) Build wise it’s lightweight and appears well put together. And did I mention it’s a dino egg?!? 🧡

The lamp comes in an egg shaped casing. It looks like a cracked dinosaur egg. You can move the egg around on the base to aim the lighting where you want to, and it stays in place. It uses a phone charger cable but does not use batteries, so it needs to be plugged in. There are two different lighting mechanisms. There is a green laser and an LED array, from what you can tell by looking at it on the outside. The lamp makes interesting cloud formations (LED) and patterns of stars (green laser). The LED clouds are partially mechanical because you can hear the lamp a little when you have motion on. Each of the laser and LED options can be controlled separately or played together with the included remote. Everything works. It wasn't as interesting as some of the demos I watched before purchasing, but overall it's great. It also comes with a sleep sound bank that plays water and bird/outdoor sounds,etc. The sound bank choices seem pretty good, and the volume control is good so you can play the sound effects at a wide variety of volume from soft to moderately loud. On the loud setting it would probably block out some nearby conversation in a house or apartment if that was what you were buying it for. Sounds do not turn on automatically, so each feature of the lamp ends up being a choice. You can customize the light show a lot of different ways, as a result, including color combinations. The green stars from the laser are always green, however.

First and foremost I would like to say that this ceiling projector had quality, class, and elegance. The colors are bright and adjustable, different light modes, music mode, and a sleep timer as well it’s jam packed with quality of life features. I secondly want to thank the company Rosetta for being an amazing customer oriented company as well. When I first purchased this projector back in November of last year I fell in love with it and even told my friends to purchase this specific brand. Some time had passed and for some odd reason my red light had stopped working. I contacted Rosetta and they quickly and promptly read my email and sent me a replacement. Dave to be specific responded to me with such care as if he understood that I was a human. It felt nice to write to a company and actually felt heard AND get positive results. 5/5 10/10 100/100 whatever your scale is, Rosetta will make sure they go above and beyond it.

As far as performance goes, it's a solid 3 stars. No more. It seems the designer of this product expects us to have this thing mounted either dead center of a room on the floor pointed up, or way up on the ceiling projecting down, also in the center of the room. You really need to have the wall(s) your projecting onto to be at least 10-15' away. Otherwise, you'll get odd and uneven coverage. For reference, I have mine in a corner of my room since it's rectangular in shape and I prefer it to be projecting from a point where I can't see it. It's a little too bright if you have to look at it directly. So ya, it's pretty bright for it's size but, the pictures make you believe it's going to completely fill a room... it doesn't. Maybe if you had two you could. The room I put this product in is a bedroom that's roughly 12'x20' and it covers about 75% of the ceiling and maybe 20% down the sides of the walls. The movement of the "aurora" is a bit too jittery for my liking. Doesn't quite have that natural/flowy feel I was hoping for. It's close but, it's just a tad off. You can select a low and high speed for this but, the low isn't quite low enough and the high is way too fast to make you feel relaxed. The green laser that projects the stars is bright and all but, the coverage isn't that great. It covers less area than the aurora by about 30%. Speaker quality is laughable for playing music via Bluetooth. The white noise that's built in isn't too bad though, when you turn the volume down really low... otherwise the poor quality of the speaker is so evident that it's all you can think about. Asthetically it's very nice to look at. And leaving the eggshell cap on makes for a soothing, colorful night light. It's really too bad that the shape drastically inhibits its performance. Oh and you'll probably find that the ideal angle to place it causes the USB cable to be bent at a very sharp angle. That's what happened in my case anyway. Cable looks awkward the way I have to run it around the front of the egg in order to get the best projection.

Great little gadget! I'm loving my Rossetta Galaxy Projector. It's the first projector I've purchased and so far I'm having a great experience and will probably upgrade in the future but it will definitely be a Rossetta projector! I'm beyond happy with their customer support who are very responsive and helped solve a small tech issue I had very fast and super effective! My thanks to their team! The projector itself is super cool for it's price point, very budget friendly and still packs a punch! Aesthetically pleasing and has a variety of modes that will definitely help you set the mood you want for any room in your home without going too crazy!

We bought this for our daughter back in November 2023. She has troubles sleeping so we thought this product would be perfect for her with the galaxy lights as a night light and the sound effects to help her drift off to sleepy land. At first, it worked great! The galaxy lights were perfect for lighting up her room just enough so trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night weren't a danger game. She enjoyed being able to choose the sleep sound for the night and it helped drown us out so she didn't wake up every time we walked through the house. Then it all took a turn; 2 months after our daughter received this as a Christmas present, the galaxy lights started flickering. Then they started turning off and turning back on. Now, it does it so frequently that it almost mimics a strobe light. This is not a soothing light that is enjoyable for a child (or an adult, for that matter) to go to sleep to. In this time, we have tried countless power cords (switching out the cord and the power box multiple times) and even have plugged it into different outlets. Nothing has fixed the issue with the lights. I have added a video of the issue for clarification. We previously reached out to the company when the issue first started and informed us that the only way to fix this issue is to buy a new egg. I don't feel that buying a new egg should be the only fix to this issue. For one, if this is an ongoing issue with multiple products then there should be an alert about it and Rossetta should be troubleshooting the issue to make sure it doesn't keep happening. Secondly, I do not feel that I should have to buy this egg every 2 months at $40 a pop. Highly disappointed. If you are wanting a galaxy light that'll last and be worth your money, then you are looking at the wrong one. I would suggest saving your money and looking elsewhere.

Received the package but the remote control was not working right off the bat. Was looking forward to this but was disappointed. Dropped an email to support and hope to get replacement remote control soon if not will return this.
