Does this product stain ?

Did not stain for me and I use it a lot! Mostly on saltillo tile and wood baseboards but also at the carpet threshold transitioning from tile to carpet.

So this only works if you spray ON the scorpion but doesn't work just spraying doorways etc. ?

This product can be used as a crack and crevice treatment, around doorways, windows and porches in areas where the scorpions are seen. It does also kill when they are sprayed on contact.

Does this work well on carpender ants? They are in my firewood pile.

I would not know. I bought it because it kills scorpions. It has a tube/straw thing like WD40 to directly get the scorpion so I would vote No for ants.

Nozzle drips after each spray & must be wiped with a paper towel. Is there any way to stop the drips? This is the first time this has happened.

Sounds like the nozzle may be faulty ... did you purchase more than one can? I'd switch the nozzle with a different one if possible. Hope it helps!
