A solid set for your bathroom sink...
This Peerless faucet is elegant in appearance.Peerless faucets vary from cheap designs with flimsy bases to faucets that rival the quality of top brands. This faucet does not quite rival Delta and Moen build quality. Though it's nicely designed, the two-hole base is thin metal over plastic. Actually, if you watch the video I've included, you'll see that I can't really see any metal on the underside of the base. It looks like an entirely plastic base with a dipped coating of metal. I don't know how that's physically possible, but though it is a solid base--unlike some flimsy all-metal Peerless faucets which rely on plastic sub-bases for rigidity--this base appears to be metal on top, but looked at from underneath is entirely plastic. Rigid plastic, to be sure, but still plastic. But I don't think this matters too much. In the end, Peerless, which is owned by the same company that owns Delta, is warranted for the original purchaser's lifetime just like Delta fixtures and you should be able to expect many years of good service from this faucet. The lifetime warranty removes any real need to worry about longevity issues. Peerless will ship the original purchaser (keep your receipt) a new part if you ever have a problem with it.Easily installed, well-built and with a lifetime warranty: if you like the look of the design you will like the faucet. Peerless has some parts in common with upscale Delta, which shares the same corporate owner. Peerless is made for the "value" homeowner-installed market, and this is a very easily installed faucet with good step-by-step installation instructions. Finally, this faucet includes a drain stopper assembly, nice at the price, and my example came missing the gasket to place under the base to keep water from getting under the faucet and dripping into the cabinet below. I have contacted Peerless about the missing piece and they raised no questions but immediately agreed to send one out. A 30 minute wait on the phone and two week shipping wait which would be frustrating if I had disassembled my sink before noticing the missing piece, but it's on its way.

For My Office Bathroom
I got a variety of faucets in this Elmhurst line for different bathrooms in my house. This one was for the bathroom off of my home office where I work full time. It makes the sink look at little more elegant and the elevated faucet, higher than normal, gives me more versatility for uses in my office. I can fill a bucket if needed and it is also more comfortable to use since I am taller and the sink in that bathroom is shorter, intended for kids usually. It can allow for more splashing but I am not a messy sink user usually--unlike the kids who get water everywhere and don't need a higher faucet to assist them in that ability.Peerless is respectable brand for faucets which I want when I am installing permanent fixtures. It is not a highest tier brand, but it is a great option for budget conscious home improvers, made by the same company who makes Delta. This is a nice faucet. I love the design. It is much better than the builder's grade faucet is is replacing. The piece arrived brand new, not used and in excellent condition. I like the two handle designs like these versus a single lever or knobs. They fit my sinks well. They look a little more elegant. And you can turn them on with the front of your hand and then turn them off with the back of your hand to try to reduce cross contamination. I much prefer these to knobs. Knobs always make me wonder why I am bothering to wash my hands if I am just going to touch the same surface again. So these are great and more sanitary while looking like an upgrade to my bathroom
