Deni 7600 3-Tier 9-1/2-Quart Stainless-Steel Digital Food Steamer

I have had this for few years now and still love it . Great value for the money , one of the plastic containers did break but it was probably mugshot . Still use it as it is !

I was given one of these as a gift for Christmas 2009 and have used it every day since without a problem. I love how fast it begins to steam after you turn it on... no waiting for a large volume of water to boil. It is specific in how the different trays can be stacked. If you try to put any tray but the one labeled "1" on the base unit, it will have a gap and perhaps that is where other people are getting leaks. I always use tray #1 on the bottom and never have any problem with leaks. It turns off after the time I set runs out... but it also has a nice "keep warm" mode that will periodically re-steam for a few seconds if you don't get to it right away. I have convinced several of my friends to buy this steamer and have given several of them as gifts. It has changed the way I eat permanently... nothing is healthier than steamed vegetables and they simply taste great.

I really like the look of this product, however, it does not program well. The indicator light does not work all the time and neither does the timer. Once I get it to start steaming, I use my own timer. It does steam food well.

I bought this because I already have another one that I love (different brand though), and I think this is very good too. it has a timer, so no bother if you forget your food is cooking! only thing, the 3 containers are not interchangeable, and you MUST put them in a specific order, so if something takes less time to cook, you'd better put it in the top container!!! I usually put rice in the lowest, then potatoes, then aubergines, and stuff like that on the top. It comes with a booklet with timing for every food.

I thought i would love this steamer to replace one i had that was on its way out. It looks great but it is a little small. The product came in no time and the dealer was great! Its just the product itself wasn't as good as i had hoped!

I would have loved to have tested this steamer, but never got the chance. Both times I received this product (after my first return) - I couldn't even power it on. You could see how cheap the buttons were made - when pushing them in - and if your not careful - if you push too hard, all the button are on the same circuit - and you could break them or push them all the way in the machine. The on/off buttons is a design flaw and should be replaced. I will never purchase a model that has buttons like this. I will look for Switch/Turn Buttons for a steamer. Tech Support was super! I give them 5 stars for their support.

I bought this steamer and took it out to use it today and noticed that the on/off button on the right hand side is set in more than the program button on the left. almost making it feel broken. is anyone else's product have this?! just trying to figure out if i need to exchange it for a new one. Thanks!

This steamer does a great job. Three tiers for a steaming a variety of foods. Easy cleanup. My unit arrived with a defective On-Off switch. Calling tomorrow to Customer Service. I will follow up with a CS report! Customer service gave me an RA (Return Authorization) number without hesitation and told me to return only the base. I procrasinated and didn't return until November 6th. Just after Thanksgiving, I called because I hadn't received any follow-up. The CSA told me that the unit was backordered and would be shipped Dec 3. I received a complete unit on Dec 4th. I now have extras of all the plastic parts. Prompt replacement; friendly service. Can't ask for more than that!

I had never used a steamer before. I was hosting a big family supper and I decided to order and try this unit. It is the best thing I ever ran across . I would recommend this unit to everybody. The price is reasonable. The unit steams vegetables to perfection. Best buy ever
