best thing I bought.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It's inexpensive and works beautifully! It's easy to use, easy to clean and now I can have milkshakes anytime I want. YAY!

Several issues with this product: * I bought it specifically to mix powder-based shakes and it does a TERRIBLE job at that, leaving most of the powder undesolved at the bottom of the cup. This is probably due to the extremely small size of the mixing head. It can't possibly do an effective job. * This thing is INSANELY loud. I can't express to you how loud it is. Naturally, I expect a fair amount of noise from a spinning motor and I've owned similar products in the past so I had some realistic expectation of the noise level. This thing is so loud, that I thought something was wrong with it at first. It sounds like a jet taking off in your kitchen and it shakes everything in sight. At the speed that this motor is spinning, there's no possible way that it won't fail in a short amount of time. * The plastic cup engagement switch is an obvious ticking time bomb - it's a pending point of failure. Interestingly, the directions actually tell you to manually bypass the switch in certain circumstances. * The spinning rod was attached when the product arrived. But the instructions tell you to securely attach it. So... naturally, I assumed that it could be removed for cleaning. However, I see no way to remove it and the instructions make no mention of removing it. That means that you have to put the entire product into a sink to clean it (un-plug, clean, re-plug). * This is not very significant, but... there are a couple of sample milkshake recipes and the quantity of the first ingredient (ice cream) instructs you to fill the cup almost to the top - well beyond the marked "maximum" level that the previous page warns you not to exceed. The instructions also mention a "minimum" marking, which is entirely missing. * The cup is marked in ML graduations, which is annoying for a product sold in the U.S. At the very least, it should include Oz markings along with ML markings. I'm 44, I don't ever recall working with a recipe that listed ingredient quantities in milliliters. This is particular annoying when you observe the fact that the product is marketed as a "15.2 Oz" item.

Wow what an amazing addition to the kitchen! No more going out to get shakes for us. Treat yourself

Good for the price, but it is very hard to get the bottom mixed up well. You wind up having to manually mix it with a spoon and return it to the machine. This is due to the safety lever and the size of the metal spinner rod being shorter than the cup.

I have had the Shake machine for a few months now and I have used it several times over the last few months and I enjoy the machine , but it takes a while to make a proper shake because it doesn’t mix the ice cream very fast so the machine gets hot and i am not sure if it is going to burn the machine motor out but it is still working fine , so I would say it is designed to withstand the heat and do the job it’s supposed to do. I would say that it might take a little longer than expected to make your shake but it does work well for making a great shake and I think it is a good machine for a individual person but I wouldn’t recommend it for a household of more than two people and if you have a family that you plan on using it for i would suggest a bigger machine and maybe a unit that will make more than one at a time. Otherwise I would recommend the machine and just be aware that it will need to cool down between shakes for at least a few minutes before you start making the next shake so that will give you enough time to prepare the ingredients for the next shake. Overall for the size and price you pay for the machine it is worth having a being able to make and enjoy delicious shakes.

Beneficial kitchen tool for people that consume drinks that require a mixture of powders like cacao or protein which are difficult to do with just a spoon, definitely worth the money.

I loved it, it's super easy to use and the chocomilk comes out really good.
