Lessons from Surah Yusuf

Loved the book. The narrative style and how everything ha been laid out. Book had some printing issues on somw pages.

The greatest strength of this work is clarity and lucidity. The presentation of the story of Yusuf (AS) as detailed in the Sura-e-mubaraka as explained by the author of this book is interesting, thought provoking and extremely engaging. I have read some of the best tafsirs of the Holy Qur'an, but the elucidation of the story in the book under review, in the light of ayayts and hadith quoted in different chapters is uniquely touching. The way in which different chapters are titled and connected to each other is amazing. The observations and comments by the author in different chapters are informative, extremely enlitening and enriching. At the end of the book, the lessons drawn from the sura-e-mubaraka by the author are valuable. May he be blessed with more such works on different sura-e-mubaraka of the Holy Qur'an in future. Ameen.

The Story of Yusuf A.S. in the Quran, is by far, one of the most beautiful and empowering tale i had the honour of reading. There is so much insight and life lessons that we get to learn from just one story in the Quran. The beauty of the symmetry in the composition of this Surah is by far the best i have ever come across, this re-affirms and strengthens my faith in the Quran. It is indeed, the true word of Allah SWT. This book, is the second book that i have read from Dr. Yasir Qadhi. The work, Yasir is doing is truly remarkable and May Allah bless him for his efforts. He is instilling, the love and wisdom of the Quran, in our hearts, which is lost due to the lives that we are leading today. One of the reasons, we muslims are going ashtray and are not respected and honoured in today's time is due to our neglect and very limited understanding and knowledge of the Quran. It is a wonderful read and one must always keep a copy of it in our homes. The stories of the Quran should be the stories that should inspire us to lead our lives and there isn't problem in the world, that cannot be solved by the Quran and the lessons that it teaches us. A MUST READ!!!

Absolutely loved reading it. Yasir Qhadi is a Great teacher and makes it easy to understand and learn for your life.

Really nice read. The 50 lessons at the end are a nice conclusion. I would recommend it for getting to know Surah Yusuf better.
