So easy to put together and it’s not insanely big, fits 2 people easy and three people if needed. The thin arms are amazing because when you look at the length the arms only take off around 10cm off, anyways it’s super cute and comfy amd I love how you can adjust the pillows and with the velcro you know they aren’t moving

This is a lovely comfortable sofa, which uses its space incredibly well, looks stylish, and comfy enough to nap on! That's a big thing for me because I'm an insomniac but curling up on this is perfect and so comfortable! It looks stylish and is very sturdy, and is roomy while being a deceptively small sofa. Would absolutely recommend and I would absolutely buy a larger matching sofa if they make one available! Really, buy this sofa. You won't regret it!

I've had this sofa for a couple of months now and wanted to take some time with it so I can give an accurate review.The deliver was amazing; on time, they helped bring it in and were very polite. Thanks. The box was surprisingly small, as the pillows and side pieces were tucked underneath in a zipped up compartment. Very smart. It's literally a case of pulling them out, slotting them into the sides, slot in the back piece, attach the legs and you are done. For me, 10 minutes. It sounds loose but it went together quite tightly and feels secure when using. The legs are plastic though and I intend to replace with some generic oak ones.The sofa colour is as expected and I would describe the fabric as a kind of cotton denim, wrapped tightly around the padding and corners. I would warn that being a dark colour, cat fur and any dirt shows, so go for the grey if that's a problem.I had been deliberating between this sofa and similarly priced ones which had the upholstery on the seat cushions, instead of the backing. I'm glad I want for this one, as when I've come across photos of used versions of those other sofas, the back pillows have lost their integrity and look awful and cheap. With this sofa, the back pillows are thinner, but supported by a decent back rest and the two tucks in each, which help keep their shape. Some reviews have mentioned that these pillows don't unflatten, but there is a solution to this. Inside the pillows, there is a strap that has been used to help compress the pillows. Open them up, undo the knot and this allows them to expand. Now these have padded out quite nicely. I've also purchased a sofa cover which is shown in the last photo. It isn't a 100% match, but with the cushions being fixed in placed, I worry about getting them dirty, although the fabric suggests it would be easy to wipe down.As for comfort, despite the small size, the narrow and low arms mean more space for the seating area and I've been quite comfy laying down with my foot over the arms. The sofa is firm, but I find this supportive and comfortable, and have even fallen asleep on it half a dozen times, and I'm 5'8".My only fault is that the sofa is quite light, and falling into it can cause it to tip back. I have it next to a wall so it's not too much of a concern right now, but otherwise, I would probably need to either fit some bigger feet or add some weight to the front to make it safer. The underside compartment that held the components means it would be easy to screw on a couple of weights or a piece of steel etc.I've seen this sofa on Wayfair for a higher price, but I've also noticed they have a 3 seater version. Going by my experience with this one, I'd like to see the 3 seater, 198cm version as an option to add to my living room as a complete suite. Let's see if this every lands on Amazon.

Had to get a sofa in a box as I live in a flat 3 floors up and no lift and it’s hard to get delivery of large, heavy furnitureI was pleasantly surprised with this sofa - it was easy to assemble and it’s lightweight to move around - easily seats 2 people so wider than I thought it would be and although seemed abit ‘sit up and beg’ firm side at first - I think over a couple of weeks it’s softened up abit. - I find it perfectly comfortable - all in all I think it’s a ‘what it says on the tin’ sofa :-)

I ordered this sofa so that I could carry it up narrow flights of stairs. It looks good and was easy to assemble. My main beef is that the back is ramrod straight, and, even though there are several inches of the arm rests extending behind it, it can't be adjusted so you have to perch erect like Victorian matrons. A slight incline would make all the difference.

We were so excited to see the box arrive but I had an appointment and had to leave my husband to unpack it. Less than an hour later I returned to find my husband, who is 76, sitting on our new sofa beaming with pride. He had managed to unpack it and put it together without the need for any tools!!Great sofa, great price and perfect for mail order. We would absolutely recommend it!!

This is a blatant case of the product being advertised not being what is delivered! Product in picture and reviews do not go with what we got poor quality fabric held together with staples!!! We now have the trouble of unmaking and repacking for collection and starting again or keeping an inferior product to avoid the stress. Be aware if you buy this you won’t get what you paid for!

Bought as an occasion sofa for a spare room.Plenty of room for 2 adults or loads of grandkids.Brilliant how it is delivered and fits together.

This is my 4th purchase from Zinus. Another win for me! Great couch! It lives up to handling serious couching. Lotsa use over the holidays and currently in a 28 day province wide lockdown. It handles the extra sitting, no problem.Assembled in less than 10 minutes. Firm and comfortable. Very affordable, well made and looks great!HIghly recommended to those who enjoy long, relaxing couching!Now...back to the couch! :)

Seriously impressed with the value of this sofa. Will try to be concise below:PROS:- Came in one box! I was able to carry it on my own, but don't recommend it for most (I'm not the incredible hulk, but I'm 6ft 175 and above average from a fitness standpoint...the box is heavy)...made it easy to get it into my small downtown apartment!- EASY to assemble...would be easier with two people, but doable with one person...once the product was unboxed in took me about 15 minutes to assemble it.- long/wide, without being bulky or taking up too much space. I have a small 1-bedroom apartment, and needed a sofa that wasn't too big, but was long enough for me to nap on/sleep on when I have guests. Again, I'm 6ft and can sleep on this (removing the back cushions) but its footprint is surprisingly small!- COMFORTABLE and firm! I'm impressed with how comfortable this is for the price. Sit on it daily for months now, and it is still very comfortable (hasn't lost it's 'bounce'/firmness...yet. If it does, I'll update my review). This is on the 'firmer' side of softness, but I prefer that for both sitting and lounging.- PRICE...seriously, this doesn't look or feel like a sofa in this price range.- LOOKS: for the price, this is a really good looking piece of furniture...it isn't a conversation piece, but it is very clean and contemporary in it's looks, without looking too 'modern'. It certainly doesn't look or feel like a cheap sofa.- CAPACITY: you could sit 3 people on this, but I think the best situation is 2 people seated VERY comfortably on it.CONS:- Weight capacity: I have no qualms with having two average sized people on this sofa, or even two people my size (6ft, 175lbs). If you're larger, taller, heavier, etc. I'd be mindful of this when considering this sofa (or if you have larger guests regularly).-SOME creaks/squeaks: this can happen with any furniture, and any noise made when getting up from this is nominal, but it is something I've noticed which is less common in more expensive furniture. It's not something that bothers/concerns me too much, but something to be mindful of.Generally speaking, I'm blown away that this sofa cost what it cost, came in one box, was so easy to put together, looks this good, is this comfortable, and feels as high quality as it feels. Be sure to check its dimensions before purchasing (I can attest to a 6ft person being able to lay end to end on this, without feet hanging over either of the arms).

I received the sofa in a big box, super easy to put together, it's comfortable, and good for taking naps on! The only problem is that my dog sat on the sofa and the back piece of wood snapped. I managed to put it back together and fix the problem with removing the back and placing a bracket over the snapped wood.

The online description of the Zinus Contemporary Upholstered 78.4in Sofa / Living Room Couch lacked certain measurements that caused much delay in my purchasing decision.Although overall length, width, and height were clearly indicated, dimensions of seating width between armrests, seating height above floor, seating front to back with and without included cushions were not provided. Because of these unknowns, my wife was not enthusiastic about buying this couch.My petite wife finds that to be comfortable on many sofas she has to reduce the front to back seating distance by adding a cushion behind her back and reduce her seating distance height by placing a small cushion under her feet.After visiting many furniture stores in our city, we were unable to find a couch with her desired measurements.Because of price with no additional delivery charges by Amazon, we then decided to take a chance with the Zinus couch.Delivery time, convenience, condition, and material quality exceeded our expectations.Seating width between armrests is 67.75 inches. Seating height above floor is 17.5 inches. Seating front to back with included cushions is 17.5 inches. Seating front to back without included cushions is 25 inches.These are exactly the dimensions we wanted, ……… but never expected. Amazingly comfortable for my petite wife and also for others at 220 pounds and 6 feet tall.Assembly was tool free, super-simple, and quickly accomplished.

We never purchased furniture on Amazon, but for the first time decided to explore. We were looking for a couch for our condo, then came across this product. This is exactly what we were looking for. Easy to assemble, you don't really need tools to assemble it, comfortable and really compliments the look of my living area. Loved the purchase. Now, exploring a loveseat from here to add on. Highly recommend this couch for people living in a condo.
