I don't know about ruining in these but they are a really nice sockless shoe. They weigh just about nothing lol. Very light weight with a bare foot feeling. I use these shoelace things so I can just slip these on and off and not have the laces all over the place. Looks clean and the shoes get compliments.

My shoes came today and I couldn’t wait to try them on. I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear and I’m glad I did because the fit is perfect. They’re good for the price. I can’t complain about that. The color is a shade darker than the picture, but pictures. Don’t always tell the truth. I will probably only be wearing them mostly around the house and for short trips outside, as I said, for the money, they are a good purchase. I may even buy a second pair in a different color. I can’t give you any idea of the traction or the durability as I’ve only gotten them today, but if I buy another pair, I’ll give you another assessment.Second review:Now that I’ve had these for a while I’m very happy with them. The shoes are very lightweight, good looking, reasonably comfortable and good for every day walking around. They are not for running and not for dedicated walkers. There is very little lateral support. The shoes came vacuum packed in a piece of plastic, like you buy hothouse cucumbers. OK, so it may be environmentally correct to save on a cardboard box. The insole is made for a perforated material, ok, but it could have been softer. The shoe is made like a slip-on with laces, instead of an elastic band to keep you tight. There are no two pieces of shoe material to bring together with the laces. The lace holes look a bit flimsy. Time will tell how long everything will last and how comfortable it will be. Overall, an OK value, not great.

I'm on my 6th pair of these over a period of about 3 years. They are lightweight and have no support, it's basically a 21st century moccasin, something that protects the soles of your feet. Barefoot-style shoes have worked well for me and resolved a ton of leg and foot issues, but that is another topic. After about six months of daily wear, the heels start to go, but that's no different from any other shoe I've had. At about 4 miles/day walking, figure about 600 miles before replacing them. Only complaint is the shoe laces are way too long and snag if not managed. Transitioning into these from conventional shoe wear took about a month to retune stride, posture and expectations, but I forget I have them on my feet. They fail as a fashion statement, but the lack of pain means I generally don't care. When they get dirty, hose them down, walk in a creek, they dry out quickly and breathe well. Not the way to go if you are hiking in scree and with sharp rocks, or with nails and other pokey things, but very satisfied.

They are comfortable at first but loose their springiness quickly and do not offer foot support very long.I would not purchase this product again because they wear out quickly.

Purchased these on a whim to simply match a blue shirt of mine. I must say these shoes are very comfortable and I will be buying a second pair today. I bought the exact size, and they fit perfect.

presently surprised. with the cost and this is a great buy. light weight and easy to wear. no box, no waste. and easy packaged. highly recommend

Despite the mixed reviews on how they felt on the feet, I went with these solely based on how they looked (liked how nice they looked compared to others). Brand new, they felt nice and snug on my feet with some support/comfort, though wearing them for long periods of time without additional support would probably be a no beuno. I wore these (brand new) to Disney World, putting on over 100k steps for 7 days of straight walking, and they are still in good condition. Due to the mixed reviews on comfort, I bought some Dr. Sholl's insoles/pads for additional support and comfort for the trip. Casual wear is probably fine w/o.
