Great Paper for Fountain Pen Ink
This is excellent paper for fountain pen users. There's a page index in the front to make specific topics easy to find.

My findings
Looking at some of the negative reviews I wanted to check this paper out for myself. I've been using fountain pens for 52 years now and I am critical of the paper I use and for the most part I only use high quality paper when available to me. I am not sure if the paper quality has changed from a year or so ago but I have to say I find this good for fountain pen use. Mind you I only use extra fine nibs with all my pens and I do have a myriad of inks to try but I would be testing out inks for a month. So, to keep this simple I used some of the most common inks used and some not so popular. The paper does not feel like true Clairefontaine that many might be accustom to. This paper has a bit of grip to an extra fine nibs if the tip is not smooth enough. In all everyone is different and what one person finds great or acceptable might not be the case for the masses. I do like this dotted notebook and if you use a bigger nib size I do not think you will find any issues with this paper. I think the price is on point quality is very good as far as durability I will have to see. You get 4 index sheets (8 pages) and the last 8 sheets (16 pages) are perforated so you can remove them easily if need be. All pages are numbered and one notebook can be used for an entire year for bujo / journal entries which is a plus in cost savings. Your mileage may vary but overall I recommend these journals highly for those just starting in journaling or fountain pen ink hobby.

Lines too large
I like the paper alot. It came damaged though where the edges were torn some. Also, the lines are so thick it's like being forced to write on elementary wide ruled paper. Not great for me and my journaling.

Very nice, sturdy book
I just got this a couple days ago. There are 8 Table of Contents pages up front, and 184 ruled, numbered pages in the book after the ToC (PAGES, not sheets). Cover is sturdy, binding is also. Doesn't seem like it's likely to fall apart with rough usage. Pages are a soft, cream color. The lines on the pages are well spaced, a light grey color. No perforations for tearing out pages (makes sense since the pages are numbered). Storage flap inside both front and back covers. Elastic band to hold it closed, and one ribbon place marker built in as well. Arrived quickly with Prime shipping.

Love how smooth the pages are for writing. This has been my preferred journal for about 10 yrs.

Didnโt know what paper was supposed to feel like until now
As a newcomer to fountain pens, Iโd been using regular copy paper, the second I touched the tip of my Montblanc (yes I went big for my first fountain pen) to the pages of this notebook, I realized just how much regular paper feels like gas station toilet paper. The pages feel like satin silk. Even if I didnโt write in it, itโs just nice to touch! Highly recommend!

Super overrated there are better options for cheaper
This paper is very smooth but almost to the point where it is irritating. The sides of the book cut into my hands and I really donโt enjoy using it. There is no bleedthrough in my testing with fountain pens. This is a terrible value for money as the cover ironically feels pretty cheap and I have gotten much better notebooks for half the price. If you want to splurge on paper buy tomoe river or rhodia paper instead. It does write flat but again you can buy two notebooks that do the same thing while feeling less uncomfortable. I do not enjoy using this journal and for this price thats criminal.

10/10 Notebook
This is my favorite notebook ever. The quality of the paper, the size, the weight - everything. Itโs smooth to write on, compact enough to bring everywhere and I refuse to write in anything else. 10/10 for me!

Quality Paper for Handwriting
Clairefontaine is French brand for stationery, Rhodia is also it's brand. The quality of paper from both are top notch for fountain pens, pens/ pencils. Excellent choice of paper always.
