Sega Genesis Classic Game Console Deluxe (2016) 85 Games.

Bought this as a gift. He loves it. A few glitches with the controller getting used to it, but perfectly acceptable to be able to play marathons of these games (again -- or is it still?).

I really had high hopes for this system because i still have my original Genesis and a lot of the games for it. I thought it would be fun for my kids to play the included games and my own library of vintage games without having to pull out the old system to do so. My first complaint is that the only option is a 2 wire A/V cord for output to TV. The Genesis had a stereo output if you were inclined to use it, but this only has a mono audio output. Not a huge deal, but i was hoping for the option of an HDMI or antenna input like the old school unit. My second complaint is that the controllers, although wireless, are infrared. They should have included wired controllers with 5' cords and that would have been better. Forget about hiding this unit, it will have to sit in the open if you want to use the infrared controllers to work. Third, if you have an Xbox 360, buy the Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection, it has most of these games and more, and it is just a better value. The games on this are so-so and the "arcade" games included are blah. Last, and this is the worst, the graphics of the built in games are terrible. They are either blurry or down converted,and just look bad. By today's standards 16 bit doesn't look good, but this makes it look awful.

The console is OK, it works with new TVs. Controllers are terrible, they kind of ruin it. You can use old Genesis controllers though, which you shouldn't have to. Old Genesis games do work with this console, which is great. Product was shipped well, and delivered on time. Very happy with that.

plenty of classics but the wireless controllers can be a little clunky. Better off with the wired controllers which are, of course, sold seperately

There are gaming systems at the swap meet Aka as the flee market, that are of better quality than this piece of junk. Yeah I know it's not very expensive but damn what a piece of crap. The controller is so bad that you can't really enjoy the games and the poor excuse for a cable that hooks on to your TV doesn't help.

Works Great! My son loves it. Seems to work just like back in the day.

The game didn't come with all of the games as advertised. It's missing all of the mortal combat series, which is one of the main reasons my son wanted it.
