The best backpacking shovel I’ve used
Impressively light weight, sharp enough to go through sod and small roots, easy packing size. It goes on every trip.

Light weight and durable
Gets the job done like any other competing shovels but for half the cost. I wrapped my handle with 1/4” rope to give it a better grip. Worth the buy

Does the dig
Light weight, easy to pack. Will bend and flex on the vertical axis but didn't seem to warp. Is hard on the hands with the handle in rooted or rocky ground, otherwise a 5 would be given, as was a good price. Will just have to tape the handle so easier - we live in the rockies.

Was just about to do a return for being short shipped. Be sure to open.;) They are both in there and extremely light weight. They are sturdy enough for the task they are designed. I would not want to dig an inground sprinkler system with them but for a cat hole, they will do just fine.
