4-Port USB 3.0 Hub Extender with 4ft Extended Cable, Ultra Slim USB Splitter for Laptop, MacBook Pro/Air, Chromebook, Surface Pro, XPS, Flash Drive, Mobile HDD

I have not had a chance to use it, but so far it looks good.

The Good: -- The hub kept up with the speeds of the hard drive I used for backup providing about 140 Mb/s of data. The theoretical USB speed is of USB 3 is about 600 MB/s but I cannot test that. -- It runs very cool so must not draw much power. -- The price at $15 is about in the bottom 20% of similar units but there are USB 3 units for less or $12 and that provide individual USB port lighted switches.The Mediocre: -- It has the tiniest little dim blue light to indicant it is on and you only see it if looking straight on. -- Interestingly it has rubber feet, but the unit is so small and light (Its own cable weighs 3x as much) that the cable it's attached to will take the hub where ever the cable wants to go, so the rubber feet are a useless feature. -- If you want a fixed mount hub you will need to double take this down to a surface. They should have provided this or hook and loop mount as an option. -- There are no activity lights for the 3 ports, which would be a great help when trying to troubleshoot problems.Conclusion: It's OK. Does the job and a reasonable price for USB 3 Hub. I struggle with a 3 star rating but it does what it says so ill give 4 stars.

I ordered this to connect to a USB 3.0 port, as I only have four USB ports on my NUC. I use it for the keyboard, mouse, web camera, USB microphone, and printer without issue. Since the desk was a bit cramped for space, I moved all of the cables and connectors down one shelf as the hub has 4ft of cable to the source connector. This has worked well for us.While it may just be a USB hub, it does supply enough power for these low power devices and it does allow us to move some of the cable clutter off the desktop... so I am rating it four stars, as most unpowered USB hubs do not perform as well and do not have the extra length. At less than 14USD, this hub has a lot of value. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

I needed a simple USB-A to USB-A hub as I have too many USB-A devices (mouse, keyboard, microphone, memory stick) combined with too few USB-A ports on my new work laptop. A simple problem, and this simple hub provided the solution. It split one of my laptop USB-A ports into four, and the devices noted above are all happily co-existing with each other.This hub is not externally powered so it might not work for devices with a high current draw like an external hard drive. But for my purposes it is working fine. Highly recommended.

My webcam had too short of cable to reach where I needed it and saw this item as a means to get my camera closer to me and options to plug in memory card or other devices as well. Has a little blue LED light on it to show it is powered on. Now to find some velcro tape so I can mount it near me and not worry about it falling off table, etc.I had 3.0 and 3.1 ports to use on computer, did not notice any difference between them.
