Is it made from plastic, because I see most plastic products are in this color?

No, it is made from solid SUS304. Most of materials such as stainless steel, brass and ABS (plastic) can be electroplated in chrome finish. It will be a very arbitrary judgement by distinguishing material based on its color.

How do I know if it could fit in my bathroom?

Almost all bathroom hardwares' connection threads are manufactured in G1/2 universal size. The only difference is the depth, our product is compatible with most of the items based on our experience and customer reviews.

Will there be more color available in the future?
