MyShoeCovers 1 Fracture Walking Boot Cover - Black, X - Large

I loved this. I am a Lunchaide at a local elementary school. That means outdoor recess in the cold snowy wet ground. This worked great. Kept my toes warm and dry! Not the greatest in deep snow because the snow would get in around the elastic area but overall I was very impressed and happy with this purchase. Easy to get on and off plus any dirt wipes away easily.

Great product but I ended up ordering a new size medium ankle fracture walking boot and as such ordered the size large boot covers to replace the X-Large ones for the large boot I was using. Durable, well made, very good quality and worth the money. Size large boot covers fit the medium boot as indicated in the description.

Fits great and I'm a week in wearing it every day, everywhere I go outside my house so that I can keep my boot clean for indoor use. It's been in the rain, gravel, tar, cement, grass, etc. and showing no signs of failure yet. I walk a lot for work and it's holding up great. I also bought a pack of cheaper ones in case this one failed or I had to wash it or something and can't even fit them on the boot. Don't bother with others, just buy 2 of these.

Very well made, and fit perfectly (for the size I ordered). I purchased this just before I had to travel back east, where I got experience a "nor-easter" in upstate NY. They got over a foot of wet snow. The boot worked perfectly, and never leaked a bit. It even had better grip on the ice and snow than I expected. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I wish it came up a little higher. Several times snow and slush slopped over the top lip of the cover, and went down into the boot. Not a good feeling. But other than that one small factor, it was a very good thing to have in such conditions. I highly recommend it. (Maybe if they made a companion "gator" to come down over it from the top, then that would be a real winning combination!)

I purchased this to go over my orthopedic boot to go to the beach and it was awesome!

I'm wearing a Large medical boot this fall. I'll be wearing it for about 12 weeks. I wanted something to keep my foot and boot dry and clean when going out in wet weather. This really works well. Its easy to put on and fits well. The built in elastic band at the top is has enough tension to keep it in place. I've had no slipping issues with it to date after using it for 4 weeks now. I've use this when I mow with me garden tractor to keep dust out of the boot. Works so much easier to deal with than a trash bag over my boot. At this price, I'm thinking of ordering a 2nd one as a spare in case something happens with this one. In summary, good fit, durable enough, great price for what your getting.

This protects the treads of the post op boot fairly well from mud (I got it because I was required to sleep in my boot post op for 12 weeks) but it makes walking a little slippery if you aren’t on a solid surface and I fell fully to the ground 4x because it sticks out so much on the sides that my good foot kept stepping on it and sent me flying while pulling the cover off the boot. Might be fine for someone with a steadier gait in their boot. Also it should be noted that it will keep dirt and such off the bottom of your boot, but it doesn’t keep it from getting inside since it doesn’t cover the top of the foot. The bottom seems reasonably waterproof. Could have achieved the same effect by throwing a shower cap over the bottom of my boot.

Waited to write this to see how well the cover held up. After 6 1/2 weeks of hard daily use it shows little wear. I wore it doing chores twice a day - in the barn, feeding livestock and walking across a gravel yard. It slips on the walking boot easily and stays put. It was washed off twice a day (because, well, livestock...). Not pretty but it works!
