Great product, fantastic customer service, affordable. I've already purchased two of these.
Top-notch, generous and responsive customer service. Perfect product for my needs, and delighted that it was affordable enough to fit in research budgets. Haven't had the product long so can't speak to durability, but so far so good. PROs for my purposes: -Lightweight - even for remote sites we backpack to, I will likely be bringing this along. -Bumpers on back to keep it from sliding around on the table -Clear white screen -- No black dot matrix marring the screen view -Photographs of specimens come out with much more detail when backlit - this light tablet makes that easy. -Dimmable - various light levels -Metric scale on borders -USB-powered so can be used anywhere you have a compatible power bank (I use Goal Zero successfully) -No grooves around the power button or elsewhere on the surface so I can decontaminate with alcohol wipes between specimens (not sure if it will hold up long term to this, but it's been a champ so far) -The incredible, responsive customer service of this seller. They bend over backwards to keep customers happy. Smart. CONs: Basically, none. Very minor issues/heads up below -Slightly finicky power/dimmer button but this has been inconsequential to my uses -I have NOT had the following problem with my setup, but just a heads up that there might be a compatibility issue with some power banks if your power bank has an auto-off feature, so worth checking if you don't have a variety of power banks available. (I had an issue with a different model light tablet from same seller when I used a different model battery pack where I had to unplug and replug the cable every time I wanted to turn the light back on, but that turned out to be an issue with battery pack model not the light pad per se. The seller refunded with no questions and sent me a new model that was even better than the first one). If the battery pack thing is still an issue, hopefully, the seller has figured out what makes for a compatible battery pack and has noted that in the product description. Even this issue wouldn't really be a problem if you used the tablet with light on for long stretches but when you have to turn it off and on constantly, and only have one hand free to do so, it would be a deal breaker to have to reattach the power cord every time. More exhaustive detail: The product has worked beautifully for my purposes of nighttime field work. We keep it at the data recording station, and the tablet allows us to view our specimens with backlight and quickly collect the data we need. As a bonus, it also makes it much easier for students to see the identification characteristics they are trying to learn rather than holding things up to headlamps and everyone crowding around that one tiny light source. The metric scale along the border make for efficient documentation photographs of specimens. As it has a USB cable, I can plug it into my Goal Zero solar battery pack, and I have an ideal field set up (no wall outlet option came with this, but you can just use your own USB wall brick). I have only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to its durability and whether it will be robust enough to hold up to being packed into the field, decontaminated constantly with alcohol wipes, and generally exposed to semi-rough conditions. The on/off button can be a little slow to respond at times, but nothing too irritating yet, and I care a lot about field tools functioning smoothly and not getting in the way. My applications are likely not the conditions under which it is intended to be used, but all my colleagues who have seen it in action so far love it and will be ordering their own. Research budgets are always tight, so if it were a high price tag, we would not be able to purchase these and risk them in the field. For about $20, however, it is worth the risk of taking it to the field and having it on hand for the one or two tasks for which it is perfect.

Super good light drawing pad
Its pretty durable and has a good cord length. The battery life is pretty good too it lasts quite a while. Good for diamond painting and any other tracing and paper. Mostly portable but a little big for travel. I would buy again if it broke.

The Best Light box
I love this light box. I use it to get the outlines drawn in from photographs I want to draw. I enlarge the photographs to 8 x 10 on my computer and then put the enlarged printout of the photo on the light box with my drawing paper over the top of the photo and trace the outlines onto my drawing paper. It's perfect to get my proportions right. I have another one I got for my grandkids and they use it the same way with maybe a little more detail onto their drawing paper. Now, they draw all the time and color their drawings. I received drawings from both of them for my birthday and I'm framing them to put on my wall. They're just that good. I use it a lot for portraits and it enables me to get the eyes, nose and mouth in the right places. Its so easy to use because it plugs right into a computer and the light can be adjusted from bright to dim. It will dim the light if its left on and not in use after several minutes. Its a great buy at a great price. Its much better than using tracing paper which is hard to use. All I need to do is get my outlines in and I'm on my way to beautiful drawings without worrying about it not looking natural because the eyes are offset or the mouth is too big or any other issue that makes it look unnatural and I have to start all over again. Its highly recommended.

Product DELIVERS!
I caught this on a lightning deal for ~15.00. It's still very cheap at ~20! Some people give this product a bad review because of the production quality, et cetera - but I think this is very unfair considering the price. It is cheap and plastic-y. It is probably going to break easily. It does have low-quality assembly around the microUSB power port. It's also less than $20 USD....... Definitely an amazing product considering price. Definitely going to get my 20 bucks' worth and then some. I do highly recommend this product, BUT - if you would rather pay more and get a sleeker, higher-quality, better-built product .... here is your honest review! You get what you pay for and this product delivers! Be warned, I left 5 stars for portability because it IS very easy to transport and is very, very slim - maybe just under 4mm. I wanted to only leave 3 because I am afraid this thing could get damaged easily in my backpack if I wasn't careful. It is sturdy, but light, it's not going to get any dings or dents on the work surface... it only seems like it could break in half very easily. I left 5 stars because I don't want to be misleading. This thing may be exactly what you're looking for if you're not a person who's very rough and clumsy like myself. It is perfect for me as I won't ever take it out of my office! Either way, at this price - I recommend giving it a try if you're willing to before buying a sturdier and more expensive option! This thing is a very great value! Lights are bright as needed, too. I cover with other sheets of printer paper before placing what I'm tracing, in order to prevent any eye strain from long use. It still shines through both layers of paper, and sometimes I will even add another layer to dim it if what I'm tracing has very high contrast. It's that bright! Enjoy!

A wonderful deal!
I got this lightboard for artwork while it was on sale for around $27- and I absolutely love it. It shipped swiftly, and arrived in a wonderful box with foam end protectors that I have kept to store it in between uses. There are some previous review issues I'd like to clarify; * The brightness is amazing! I have been able to trace through legalpad yellow paper underneath 110lb cardstock and 140lb watercolor paper (shown in the image is 90lb watercolor paper). For the best drawing results, I reccomend printing out a sketch, for computer ink shows through with spectacular results. * The brightness button is NOT as sensitive as people say. I wonder if they are trying to shove it, like a tactile button, which causes it to register touch for longer. As long as you gently touch it, like a smartphone screen, it is simple to control. * I have NOT had the issue with turning it on or off by simply 'grazing' the button during use. It won't turn off at random unless you slam the button or unplug it. * While it does not come with a USB plug adapter, the chord is several feet long and able to be used on my computer desk, with the USB end plugged into my desktop. There is more than enough room for it to comfortably reach. And if you want a plug, if you have an Android phone plug adapter, that will work. * I have had no problems with where the small end plugs into the box. I am sad some got a defective model where it fell out right away, but my connection has been consistent every time. All in all, this board is a wonderful, portable size for smaller traditional artwork. It is easy to store, not a pain to look at, and a wonderful deal for the price I got it. Absolutely reccomended for artists!

Inexpensive, yet powerful lightbox, perfect for the hobbyist! Probably for pros too, but I'm not a pro, can't speak for the pros
So, first off, let me state that I am by no means a professional artist, but a hobbyist that dabbles enough to want to reproduce sketches easily for other projects without redrawing them, or using the awkward window approach to tracing. That being said, while I know you get what you pay for, I couldn't quite justify spending $50-100+ dollars on something I wasn't yet sure how frequently I would use it. Enter the A4 Ultra-thin Portable LED Light Box. I have to say, despite it's lightweight design, and seemingly low frills construction, this lightbox produced better light than I anticipated. For example, I have included a photo showing a light pencil sketch readily visible beneath Arches 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper. I have also been able to easily see drawings and sketches through 100lb bristol board and 90lb sketch paper. That's good enough for my needs by far, and it is much easier to trace on my desk, and I have found I don't even need to remove the pages from my sketch pad (I mostly use spiral bounds) to trace since the light box is so thin. I can't attest for the durability, as I have only had it a month, but I think if it lasts me at least a year, I have figured out the benefits of a lightbox and can decide if I need a more robust purchase in the future. The only 'negative' I can say at this point is that the power button is a little sensitive, and I have accidentally turned it off a couple times when I brushed it while tracing. A pretty small issue in my book. One final note, I somehow lost the included cord pretty quickly, but was able to just use one of the many micro-usb cords I had lying around from an old phone and it worked no problem. Overall, an economically and fully functional addition to my art supplies.

Ruler marks are in centimeters (30x20). Works with (my) power banks.
This review is for the "older model". I know... It's rather obvious in the pictures that the ruler marks are in cm, but I didn't notice that until I got the product, probably because I don't really care about them. Having been raised on imperial measurement, one would think that I would use inches, but when I was a professional framer I used to write my orders in cm, which annoyed my co-workers, but amused me. So in my opinion, centimeters are better anyway and more universal. A standard 8 1/2"x 11" sheet of printer paper will almost fit on this pad, it's almost 8"x12" but not quite. It took me a while to figure out how the dimmer works (you hold down the power button to dim it). The dimming setting for this model is continuous, the "newer model" states that it has 3 dimming modes. I don't know which is better in regards to how it works with power banks, but I like the continuous dimming so I can select the brightness level I need based on my environment. This device operated perfectly when plugged into a usb wall adapter, or into the usb ports on my computer. It also works with power banks: I own three power banks of varying brands, and one portable bluetooth speaker that doubles as a power bank (Braven BRV-1 with a puny 1400 mAh/5V/1A max power bank). Two of the power banks ("Tzumi Extreme" 6000 mAh/5v/2.4A max and "MyCharge" 4400 mAh/5V/2.1A max) keep the device lit at the brightest setting continuously but they shut off after a minute at the dimmest setting. My third power bank (a 5200 mAh/5V/1A max Pokemon branded one manufactured by Geeknet that no longer seems to exist for sale) was able to power it continuously at the lowest setting without shutting off. All three power banks are 2+ years old (and all are 5V so I cannot say how newer "smart charge" power banks would fare. The Braven speaker also powered the device on the dimmest setting without shutting off, so that's a plus even if its battery is low-capacity. I find it interesting the lower amp output power banks were the ones that don't shut off, while the stronger ones did. All power banks being fairly low capacity, I don't know how long a large capacity power bank would keep this lit even at its brightest setting, but all my banks at full charge seem able to power it for at least an hour each at brightest settings. For my power banks that do keep it lit in its dimmest mode, it seems to draw a lot less power when it is fully dimmed than when it is at its brightest. TL;DR: This will run off most any power bank at brightest setting for at least an hour (and probably much longer for high capacity power banks), making it useful for on-the go projects, and seems sturdy and useful for the price. It also powers on from usb wall adapters and usb ports on computers and laptops, as one would expect.
