Saves $$$ over dealer prices
My son dropped the key fob to his 2009 Land Rover LR2. If you're looking at this product you probably know that every LR repair is $$$. We were quoted $600 to replace it and would have had to drive to a city 200 miles away to get it, as they need the remaining one to program the new. I bought this with about zero hope that it would work. We took it and the remaining original fob to a local locksmith and for $75 and 20 minutes, they had it programmed and ready to go. We have not had any issues with it, it works exactly as well as the original.

It always feel like a roll of the dice when you are trying to avoid a big car dealership bill. But this remote took a reprogram and has worked perfectly!

Ignition stopped accepting it after 6 months
It is way less expensive than land rover but I would recommend OEM or land rover original. This worked for 6 months after paying an autolocksmith to program it. Then the ignition kept spitting it out of my LR2 while on a roadtrip. It could not be fixed even with landrover computers. It was a cheap hardware problem according to 2 autolocksmiths. I had to fed ex my old keys from home to make it back on the road trip. The unlock/lock buttons still work but it was not worth it.

Know what you need
Arrived as noted but according to locksmith Some Landrovers are really hard to create remotes for. In fact, for some you have to buy the pair as they come in sets. The chip located in this third party remote had a different chip and not compatible with my model. For my model, 2008 Landrover LR2 I have to get the remotes from the dealer at a hefty price.

Extremely easy to program
The item arrived promply and it took me all of five minutes to program it using the Autel AP200 and the Land Rover module on my Android phone. Worked perfectly the very first time and save me the nearly $400 that the dealer wants for a new FOB and programming.
