Great and Helpful Product - NOW Essential Oils, Cinnamon Cassia Oil
NOW Essential Oils, Cinnamon Cassia Oil is good stuff - actually helped save my life twice as strange as it may sound by keeping a bottle in the car (clearing lungs while stuck on highways etc). Also good to use after out in public, getting your hands all nasty - just drop a couple of drops in your hands and let that be your disinfectant vs chemicals. Great for sniffing, inhaling. Very strong though - don't get on sensitive parts of your body. Hot in the mouth. Smells great. Solid product. Long lasting too.

Fantastic product!
Cinnamomom cassia (AKA Chinese Cinnamon & Cinnamomom aromaticaum) or what we call Cassia cinnamon is fantastic! I have a number of NOW EO's and this one is top quality like the rest. It smells sweet & slightly spicy but not too harsh to where you're overwhelmed (like some of those scented wax melts or candles!) Yes, this is not "true" cinnamon. This is from a completely different plant actually but 90% of the cinnamon sold in stores in the US is Cassia cinnamon. Rarely labeled with the botanical name it is hard to know which we are getting. Most of us would have never known there were any other kind! "True" Cinnamon, as it is nicknamed is Ceylon Cinnamon and has 2 varieties: bark (quite a bit more expensive) and leaf. However, all 3 plants do have similar qualities and is considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs in TCM. 1st I must warn you this oil is strong so start low when using & work your way up if needed. It can be overwhelming if you use too much! That said, this oil is great for making DIY cleaning products, the scent helps bring peace/serenity to a racing mind & help with emotional concerns. It is great for helping with nausea (put a few drops on a tissue & inhale slowly), for cold/flu add a few drops to your diffuser. It is a "hot/warm" EO (like ginger, pepper) & if applied topically (WITH a carrier oil, a must for this EO particularly) will help ease pain in the joints, like arthritis, gout, I use it for fibro, neuropathy, Reynaud's (cold fingers/toes) & back pain- but any pain that you'd typically put a heating pad on for example. (NEVER on broken skin, pets or children! This is esp important with all cinn. oils.) It smells great with citrus oils & other spicy/warm oils. A must have for any EO lover! (PIC source: doterra)

A nice scent
I make and sell candles and bought this for a new scent I was working on. I was nervous that the cinnamon cassia wouldn't be strong enough though, so I also purchased cinnamon bark oil from Now essential oils. After testing a few times I decided to go with the cinnamon cassia. The cinnamon bark is definitely stronger, which is usually a good thing in candle making, but it is actually a little TOO strong for my taste - it overwhelms the other scents and is pretty overpowering in a small room. The cinnamon cassia is a little on the sweeter side and blends well with other smells. I don't understand the reviews that say it doesn't smell nice - it honestly smells like a sweet cinnamon, but still with that underlying spice that cinnamon is known for. I'd definitely recommend.

I am a repeat customer
I use a couple drops in my/hubby’s coffee for the spicy cinnamon flavor. This is the best/tasting cinnamon I have ever tried liquid or dry. I like cinnamon that has a kick to it and this is it. It’s safe for consumption but it can burn your skin if you don’t wash it off right away. It’s potent. The reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the top can be messy. Other than that, this is an amazing product.

one of my favorite essential oils but it is very strong and bold...
I have to warn anyone using this undiluted, it could sting and burn and the bottle warned me. I accidentially touched my face after having it on my fingers and the skin turned red and burned just for a short while. No long term effect but I was warned well that it is certainly powerful, concentrated and a little goes a long way. I personally love this essential oil it is very useful, I heard it is good for scalp and hair growth, gums and of course the scent if you like cinnamon this is more intense than cinnamon powder. I like to dilute it with a little aloe vera gel for applications and find this oil very effective. I heard it repels insects too so I put a couple of drops in a small sprayer filled with water for my house plants. I will continue to buy this as it is so useful and I like it (this was my first time).

Yuck - Smells Terrible
I bought this to scent the house....I'm used to using cinnamon oil and I bought this brand for the first time due to the price. Well, you get what you pay for! I opened the bottle and there is a cinnamon scent - but also a soapy/petroleum/weird kind of scent. It's horrible. If you want a pure cinnamon scent - like you're smelling some cinnamon sticks, this is not it. Mine ended up in the trash. I'm not even sure this will do much to make the trash smell better but it's the only place it deserved being put. Update: I tried two other brands and I finally found what I was looking for. Simplers Botanicals sells Cinnamon Leaf oil. This is the best stuff - it smells exactly as you expect it too. I didn't find it on Amazon - I just did some research and found their site online at [...] . A friend said she's found their stuff in Whole Foods and Co-Ops too. It does cost a little more - but totally worth it.

Great for combining with other essential oils for s
Cinnamon is the best. Combine it with clove essential oil and water for a general purpose cleaner that smells like Big Red.
