The wires broke at the plug going into the computer AGAIN! Defensively a weak spot for Apple! This one has more strain relief at the plug so it may last longer, HOWEVER, this isn't like the OEM Apple chargers where you can replace the plug w/ a plug on a cord; you're stuck w/ plugging it directly into the outlet or extension cord.

Performance and Value I bought this as a replacement for my MacBook Pro but the value is very low. While it is cheaper than the OEM version, it is not worth the trade off in quality. The performance is inconsistent because the design is far too bulky. It does not sit flush against the laptop, which leads to frequent disconnects. It is a frustrating experience to have to constantly check if your computer is actually charging. Durability and Quality The build quality of this charger is poor. The plastic feels thin and the connector does not secure properly into the port. It lacks the magnetic strength of the original charger, making it very easy to bump loose by accident. The bulky design also makes it difficult to use if you have other accessories plugged in nearby. I eventually just threw away the unit because it was more of a hassle than it was worth. My Verdict This is a two star product at best. It might work as an emergency backup for some, but the poor design and weak connection make it a bad choice for daily use. I would recommend spending more on a higher quality alternative that actually stays in place.

Broke after almost 2 years of use. Went to pull it out of the outlet and the charging bit snapped off. But otherwise pretty good for 2 years of usage.

Works great on Apple tablets. It’s a plus for college students. Looks just like the original charger.
