Ben-Mor 6.5" Metal Heavy Duty Pulley

I ordered two pulleys to put up a clothesline. These pulleys are lightweight. They have an arm at the bottom that rests against the tree to keep the pulley wheel from hitting the tree. There is also a small hole drilled through them. I wondered what that would be used for until I went to hang up my clothespin bag. The hook on the bag went right through that hole. The only one minor complaint I had with the pulleys was that the clothesline tended to slip off the pulley to the side. Once I got the line drawn tight, this was not an issue. I assume all pulleys would have this issue unless they had some kind of spring loaded thing that you had to pull back to get the line under. I would order these again and highly recommend them.

These are the perfect pulleys for my clothesline. It was easy to thread the rope through and the pulleys roll smoothly.

Seem good operates smoothly

I feel like I am reasonably hard on these. I put sheets, bedding, misc. dog laundry, and towels (so many towels) out on the line to dry which ends up being a couple loads a week usually and they’ve held up just fine to the general weather of North Carolina and my regular use. I’ve got a cloth rope for line and they’re always the quietest part of my ensemble

I bought this after using the "old plastic cheap / line falling off pulley style". Using it with a plastic coated clothesline. Pulley works great and there is a tremendous amount of tension with a 100' clothesline (total of 200' of cable!!) No hang ups, no catching... they simply work great. Highly recommended!

Great product great price

I'm skeptical. So far it's working fine. However, it feels very brittle and cheap. There were no definitive answers as to what it was made of here, so I emailed the company and confirmed it is made of aluminum. They could not, however, provide a load rating. My line is about 100ft long. So far it's only seen a full load of small children's clothes, but it's working fine. Feels like an aluminum powder that was pressed into form, not pour cast. Now the pin in the hub, might not be aluminum. If that rusts, I'll be quite disappointed. Right now, I'm only 3 stars on this pulley. If it stands up over time, I may increase. But it's poor quality feel leaves me very suspicious if this will last.

Works well, no issues

I love my clothes line! Makes hanaging clothes a breeze! After using a umbrella type line that would always leave my clothes not smelling so fresh, I decided to build my own using these. Mine are attached with clips so I could take down when I wanted. No sqeeak, no rust so far! Does the job perfectly.
