Fluker's Small Animal Bend-A-Branch Pet Habitat Decor, Medium, brown

Love these vines compared to others we’ve bought. These bend nicely will wrap together or around a plant with a large enough trunk. They are sturdy enough to hang across 24” wide without swinging. I started out with two and now have 9 of these for the 3 panther chameleons we have, and they chose to bask or just linger on these vines than anything else in there enclosure. Only one view had a slight crack and it hasn’t progressed. I would advise 3 for an XL cage. Best part they are easy to clean!!

I added this to the nano breeze with added bark background and I’m way happy with it. Perfect for little bugs to crawl around and add some usable areas.

I just set up a BIG terrarium for my Cope's Gray Treefrogs. To give you perspective, here are the measurements of my terrarium: 36" tall x 24" wide x 18" deep. I have used real wood branches of different types, from different vendors. EVERY SINGLE type of wood I have tried grew mold. I have also tried the "vines" made of real moss. Well, first of all they stunk. They had a VERY strong smell. They smelled like my vegetable garden in a concentrated odor. I like how my garden smells. I don't want my living room smelling like that. And these vines MOLDED as well. I guess it's the nature of a humid terrarium. I do have an automatic misting system. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... I bough these artificial vines / branches and I am so glad that I did. They have not grown any mold or mildew. None. They don't have ANY smell at all. Not even a plastic type of smell. They look GREAT too! Looks at how nice they look in my terrarium. What I did was to buy two of these brown branch / vines and four green vines. All from Amazon. I twisted all three together as you can see in the pics. I did it for strength. They ended up looking great too! Tree frogs are little acrobats, and I wanted stability, so I made sure to wrap almost all of the smallest branches tightly around the big vines. For aesthetics I kept a few smaller branches, and I kept them kind of under the larger branches. This way the frogs wont feel the need to use the tiny super flexible branches. I can tell you that we LOVE the look of the terrarium. The frogs seem to really like them.

DECEMBER 2018 I coiled this faux vine and put it in my crestie's terrarium, tucking his plants around it. He frequently perches on it to relax or climbs all over it during his nightly adventures. He's a very "talkative" little fellow and has plenty to "say" about his enclosure--this got lots of happy squeaks. Four stars instead of five since it cracked in two places but the material isn't abrasive enough to be dangerous. Photo for scale. I've learned to read his body language and skintone, so I can tell you he was in a good mood but mildly confused about having his picture taken before I picked him up. MAY 2019 UPDATE: I just had to take it away from my gecko because it started growing weird yellow mold. Leaving the rating the same because my little guy got well over a year's worth of climbing enjoyment out of an inexpensive fake vine.

This is so easy to use. It is completely covered in a soft smooth foam brown in color making safer for use with your animals. They come in variety of sizes. Very flexible, shapable and stay in the shape you bend them into. I used to help twist up more vibes with leaves around the enclosure and use this to keep those in place better so they do not move when animals get on them and works great. They blend into the decor and look very natural. There is no notable chemical smell to it.

I purchased this to replace my bamboo in my small crested geckos terrarium. It arrived late, but packaged well. It looks good! But will see how it holds up. As other have commented, it doesn't bend very far. It cracked in quite a few places and bummed me out. Warming it up a bit seemed to help elasticity though. Appearance and use are huge to me when decorating my reptiles' terrariums. So far appearance isn't great due to the cracking, but it holds up well to my crestie climbing on it. Once he gets bigger I'll probably have to purchase another to wrap together so they hold his weight. Don't regret the purchase at all though! Just a little bummed.

Definitely thin. First a baby to juvenile chameleon it's perfect. Especially for babies. But even an adult jacksons or veiled could use it for support. Wouldnt be good as their main route from point A to point B though. It bends great and actually stays where you bend it. I connected it to my tank by slipping each end through the steel aquarium lid holes on each diagonal end. Then slipped it back into the lid in the hole next to the first and twisted the piece around the vine within the aquarium. Has remained there ever since. Shown in photos. It also looks real. Looks like a branch with some areas having lumps or twists. That way it isnt just one thin cylinder from one end to another. Also shown in photos. For the price, it was a steal. Name brand pet retailers want double or more. Smaller reptile stores want triple+. You really cant beat the price. Especially for the quality. Just make sure it's for a smaller/younger reptile. Baby or juvenile veiled or jacksons chameleon, baby panther chameleon, vine snakes, baby tree dwelling snakes, etc.

For the money, this product makes an ENOURMOUS impact on the look of your aquarium/terrarium. They do not serve much purpose in an aquarium, but I’ve found they keep my floating plants in place, and they are affordable enough to buy as many as you need. I have several tanks and these are in almost all of them. As far as climbing goes, I wouldn’t imagine many animals could use these, they are extremely thin, thinner than a pencil, so I feel like even a crested gecko (example) could use the medium size not the smaller ones that are super affordable that I love.

Bought several of these for furcifer bifidus chameleons' terrariums. They are perfect! Medium is about the width of my finger. Small is about the width of a pencil.
