This product is made for the land fills. I have bought 3 of these in the past, one of them stopped working within 3 months of use. Another one's ceramic burr fell off on the collection jar while it was still grinding because the fastener (grind size setting knob) is made of plastic. It's threads gave up and fell into the jar.Motor torque struggles on a Medium-dark roast beans. Dark roast beans were fine to grind. This junk does not work when the battery is charging, and the back up is not sufficient. The motor looses torque as battery is being used.

Pros : 1. Very affordable 2. Backed by solid warranty and great response in service 3. Grinds quite evenly 4. Compact and easy to carry Cons : 1. Battery runs out rather fast 2. Takes a long time to grind 3. Very few grind settings available 4. The mouth of the collector tray is too large and spills a lot of coffee grounds while emptying into any coffee gear However, that said, it is a great product at this price and therefore easily undermines any of the cons listed.

Used it for almost 2 years.with twice daily usage. Working good. But battery life is down and need daily recharge. Charge lasts for 2 full grinds. Planning to repurchase only for battery life. Would be good if instacuppa had facility to change battery.

This is a very innovative product. I have multiple products from Instacuppa, so I decided to purchase this despite very few reviews. 1. The grinder has made my life easy as I dont need to manually grind beans any more 2. Its 5 times cheaper than an electric burr grinder. 3. It takes about 7-8 mins to grind about 30gm beans to medium coarse. The grinding is quite even. 4. Its portable, so I can carry it along. Its too early to comment on durability. My first grinder developed an issue in the first month but instacuppa replaced it without a fuss. Their customer service is responsive. It has a built in battery, so I am not sure about whether the company will replace battery or make any other repairs when the time comes. Takes a little over 2 hours to recharge and the grinding time in aggregate comes to about an hour. This is not recommended for use while still connected to the charger.

I bought this grinder and within a couple of months it stopped working. I raised a complaint, and the team promptly replaced the product. However within a few weeks that too stopped working and I was close to giving up. I wrote to the team, half prepared that it's money down the drain. One change I made was to avoid loading beans to the top, and maybe that's the difference now. However it's been working well since then, and has been smooth, touchwood. It looks sleek, and is easy to use. Does a great job of grinding to an espresso size (and grid size is adjustable too). Edit: the 3rd machine has packed up too. I've been careful with it, but durability is really poor.

Horrible product complete waste of money. its not grinding fine and to grind coarse is also a task. It claims to grind different texture which is completely flase . Plz don’t buy this product

I purchased the coffee grinder from Instacuppa to spend less time grinding my coffee manually every morning, and yet, sadly, I've ended up spending more time now to brew one cup of coffee. As a grinder, the build quality and the the grind quality is good. The coffee is ground well and the grinder is easy to use and clean afterwards. The knob to adjust the grind size could have been better as it doesn't always turn accurately. The cup size to hold the ground coffee is adequate and is sufficient enough for 4-5 cups of coffee, depending on your brewing type. The battery, the grinder is electronically powered and per the manual, the use time is 60-minutes on a full charge, the grinder lasts maybe 10 minutes and lately it doesn't last more than a minute or two. Considering that this is a replacement piece and was replaced for faulty battery, for this new piece to also have the same problems is a concern. The charging time stated is 2 hours for a full charge, however, I have faced difficulty in using my grinder for more than 5 minutes at a stretch despite charging the device overnight as well. This would have been a great product if not for the battery issues and unfortunately I have faced increasing amounts of difficulty as a result. I have either ended up not having my morning coffee or having to manually grind my beans should the grinder stop working due to a discharge.
