Are there 24 razers in this package - it apppears to look like only 6 from the packaging?

My husband said these appear to be much lower quality and maybe knock-offs. Anyone else think so?

I fully agree with your husband's assessment. I've been using Xtreme 3 razors for well over a decade so I know them well. These are clearly not up to par with the ones I used to purchase that came in the retail packaging.

I do not use gillette. are gillette and schick under same company?

They are two separate companies. I’ve been using the Schick flex head for close to 2 decades. It handles thick facial hair growth very well. The handle could be a little more durable, but overall a good razor.

How many close shaves each gives?

On average about 5 to 7 shaves per razor.
