UPDATE: 2-18-16 Ok, so here it is almost a year has gone by and I am almost done with the last bar of Tea Tree Oil Soap. So after all this time I thought I would try another type of basic soap just for kicks and giggles. I used it twice and threw it away. I then ordered what I though was this Tea Tree Oil soap from the same folks but it turns out that it's a bit different. It does not have the strong smell of this soap (actually very mild and nice) but is almost clear in appearance with bits of Eucalyptus in it. UPDATE:1-20-17 Well it's been about 8 months using the other type of Tea Tree Therapy Vegetable Base Bar Soap, Eucalyptus and I have to say that I will never go back to just this Tea Tree type of soap. The Eucalyptus version does not have the hard strong odor and even though it's not quite as large a bar than this one it lasts a long time and smells wonderful and still gives all the antibacterial properties that this style does. It lathers really well and after almost a month I still have half a bar. The smell is wonderful, not over powering like this Tea Tree soap. And I am now on my second order of the Eucalyptus version Much better soap to me than this style. Here is my original review for the Tee Tree Oil Soap. To be totally honest here, I almost shipped this back the minute I opened up the box. The smell was beyond anything I have ever smelled before and the first thought was that it was moldy, as that is what it smelled like. We took a box out and unwrapped it and let it sit for a bit. I then went ahead and used it. Truthfully, the smell is almost over whelming at first. And my thought was, I hope I don't smell like this when I go out. But after using it and sitting for a bit you cannot smell it as bad. After a few more days of using this though I find that the smell has tempered a bit and I don't mind it as much. Now for the good part. This soap works better than any soap I have ever used. I find that my skin is much cleaner and after a couple of days I can see the affects of the Tea Tree Oils. Apparently Tea Tree Oil has a very stout smell and I think that is why they perfume it so much. Either that Or I got a bad smelling batch. Perhaps somebody else can tell me. Anyway, I will keep the soap. Bottom line, The smell is very strong but dies down a bit after sitting out. The soap cleans well and keeps my skin soft.

I was very excited to receive these bar soaps and have high hopes for it usefulness. I had my husband put one in each bathroom so that my son & I have it readily available for use. At the end of the day I entered the master bathroom and asked my husband if he had sprayed bug spray an he told me it was the soap that was giving off that scent! In all fairness, the smell was gone by day 2. I will tell you it does work wonders though. I used it on my scalp and I felt it tingling the entire time. It also helps to heal minor cuts as Tea Tree Oil is a natural Anti Fungal. My son had slight eczema and this really works in keeping his skin healthy. I personally do not like bar soaps in general because of the film it leaves on the skin but this soap left no film or discomfort of any kind. For me, this is a MUST HAVE for healthy skin and scalp. I can get past the initial smell because the benefits far outweigh the smell. FYI, a lot of reviewers complained that they could not smell the Tea Tree Oil, I smelled it right out of the box when I first got it! Everyone's sense of smell is different, which is why there are so many mixed reviews for this product...but if you have any skin issues, this is the bar soap for you!

This is my favorite soap ever! You feel so squeaky clean afterwards without your skin feeling dry. My skin breaks out with any artificial fragrance scented soap but i have never had a problem with this. I really like the natural scent too. It also has tea tree oil which is an antibacterial so its good to use if you're cleaning a cut. Very gentle. I suggest using bath gloves so you get a thick lather. Ive used it as face wash and shaving cream too if im out. I took out my facial piercings and washed my face with this every day until the holes healed. I think it really helped keep the wounds clean without being too harsh. I HIGHLY recommend this soap and even give free bars to my friends to try out because it gets you so clean. Great price on here to buy it in bulk especially because its hard to find in stores. Literally better than any soap I have ever tried. Hope ive convinced you enough!

I am currently using this soap and have found it, by far, an excellent alternative to store bought soaps that contain harsh chemicals and actually do more damage than any 'good'. I've stopped using 'soaps' that contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate which is on the Cancer Causing ingredients in our 'grooming' products. This soap is all natural and it contains Tea Tree Oil which is a natural antiseptic (anti-bacterial) that generally heals 'skin' conditions PLUS it is a Natural insect repellent. It will repel fleas and mosquitoes without using poisons. GREAT STUFF, I personally use it on as my 'get up and go' morning soap, I also use it on my hair and face (careful, this will really 'sting' your eyes if it gets in them). Generally speaking, this 'soap' is very mild and hasn't caused me any irritations on any part of my body, even the most delicate parts. However, some people may be sensitive to Tea Tree Oil so be careful when you first use it. If you are feeling sensitive to this soap then try NEEM TREE OIL, which has almost the same properties but much more mild. I have both Neem Tree Oil and Tea Tree Oil soaps and both (for me) are Nature's miracle ingredients, I use to get 'rashes' on my lower legs from allergies from 'polyester socks' which is why I purchased these products in the first place. I use sit in the tub and take a nice, hot bath before bedtime and my legs would start to 'ITCH' during the bath, afterwards I used Neem Tree skin care to stop the itch (which it did) but then the next day the same thing happened. I found out that the bath salts and/or soapy solutions that I used to 'soften' the water was the culprit. I stopped using 'soap' and 'salts' to soften the water and went to ALL NATURAL 'soaps' which after a couple of days 'stopped' the itching and rash itself. I initially thought this was going to be some perfume-heavy soap catering to women - I was wrong. While you do smell the lavender, it is not overpowering and the vegetable-based soap does feel good on your skin. While many people may balk at the higher price in comparison to the bars of soap you can purchase at say a Wal-Mart, I will say these bars are much thicker / dense / compacted more than what you are used to and aren't filled with as much fluff as the national brands. Why is that important? I'm not talking about the size of the bar, but the density / composition of the soap as it lasts a heck of a long time. Despite the price per bar I think the long-term value of price per shower, plus the way it makes your skin feel good, are well worth it and recommended.
