So far, so good, works as advertised.
Bought two of these because we have 2 bikes, one with a child seat on the back, and we switch off during rides a lot. It's a pain to adjust seats every time we switch bikes. So I thought these would make it easier. So far they do, and work just like an office chair height adjustment. We have mountain bike seats with the two rails on the bottom. The lever fits between the bike seat rails and we can opporate it just fine by pushing up, I have no problem using the lever while riding too. Better option for us and what we wanted than paying over $100 for some sort of pro setup.

Great dropper post with EASY install
My 13 year old sonloves to upgrade his bikes but doesn't like to spend hundreds of dollars doing so. He wanted a dropper post on his mountain bike but didn't see the need to sink a ton of money on it since this was going on a kids 24" mountain bike and most kids that will be riding this size of bike are not skilled enough to even know how to use most of these fancy gadgets. He was installing this himself and we originally ordered a wired one and found out it was going to be way too complicating and a lot of uneccesary work when this one was available. We returned the other and ordered this one and he was so happy he did! He had it installed in a matter of seconds and was able to get right on the bike and start riding after installation. This is a definite recommendation for anyone wanting an inexpensive dropper seatpost that can be installed very easily!

Ok but...
This works well except for the lever is a little too high underneath the seat and kind of hard to reach with your fingers. I have a different brand on my other bike and the lever is lower and more pronounced. I got this one because it was half the price of my other one, for the money I'll deal with the lever. As a side note, it looked used when it arrived, it was somewhat dirty and had a couple of Knicks in the paint, it still worked fine so I didn't bother to send it back. Overall nice post at a good price, just wish the lever was in a different location.I hope this review and pics were helpful.

Perfect for kids bike
I love it, I added this dropper to my son's mountain bike a few months ago. It's super convenient to be able to adjust the seat whenever he wants without all the mess of running cables all over the bike. He's 7 years old and riding a 20" wheel - this fits him perfect! And I will switch it to a larger bike when he's ready for 24" wheels. When he's practicing technical stuff or jumps we drop it down, if we're riding on the paved path - we raise it up. Much easier and cleaner than having a quick release and constantly scratching the seat post up.

Does what you're expecting, with some advisories.
Does exactly what I bought it for, it drops. However, there are some issues. There were no installation instructions. I mean, it's pretty straightforward; insert it in the seat tube. But does the lever go forward or back? I opted to install it with the drop lever facing forward. I had to move the seat forward to allow the lever to work between the rails of the seat. It might work better with the lever in the back, but I haven't tried it because I don't want to reach behind me to activate it.If you put side pressure on the seat, or twist, the upper post twists with it. There's nothing keeping the post in line. it moves back just as easily, so something to be aware of it. This is my first dropper so I don't know if brand name droppers also do this, but I would think on a more expensive dropper there would be something to keep the tubes aligned.I can descend the short little drops we have on my local trail, and then pop it back up for the short little climb back to the top. Worth the $50-$60.

Great idea + poor design = regretted purchase
This thing seemed great - a dropper post I could add to my old framed mtb, as I didn’t want to run more cables for a legit dropper. However this poor design has failed me on two of these droppers. The lever somehow has detached from the dropper hydraulic control. So essentially the lever doesn’t communicate and is stuck in the “loose” position. As such, the seat post won’t lock and you can’t sit on the bike seat! What a pain! This happened once and I reached out to the seller. They sent a refund so I could purchase another, and the same issue returned within 3-4 rides this time!Don’t waste your time!! Spend the extra $ and run cables

It is a suspension dropper seatpost
When I originally bought it I did not like it but it is genius when you think about it. Most dropper seat posts are just that a dropper seat post but this one adds one added benefit of a suspension dropper seatpost. I like it now. It makes it easy for me to get on and off the bike because I can lower it and it cushions my ride.
