I am currently using this Basswood for a massive 1:12 scale project called "My Sanctuary"—a dream home that includes a Library, Bathroom, and a detailed Kitchen. This wood is the only material I trust for this level of precision. ​Why it’s perfect for serious builders: ​Exceptional with Natural Stains: I make my own stain using coffee instead of store-bought paint. This Basswood is perfectly absorbent—I use recycled grounds for a lighter, aged look and fresh coffee grounds when I want a deeper, darker finish. It takes the color evenly every time. ​Precision Engineering: I use a custom Dremel table saw for my cuts. This wood handles power tools beautifully and won't splinter as long as you pre-drill your holes for tiny hinges and screws. ​The "Invisible" Filler: I save all my sawdust to mix with glue for filler. Came a little warped, but sturdy and good quality. Didn't split or break while cutting. Takes stain beautifully.

This wood is easy to cut through with a good knife or a strong hand on some scissors. I recommend this for and small wood crafting you want to do. Some of the wood carried in quality, but that is the only gripe I have.

Size is good, cut good, functional for what I used it for, flat ok, never warped, it’s durable for the project. Ty !

I love this quality of wood. I do so wish it came in a 12 inch square instead of all the little squares.

B/BB quality. Everyone in the box was warped beyond use full sized. Had to quarter cut all the panels so they would be flat enough to laser cut.

Great for making dollhouse furniture. Convenient size. Easy to work with.

These sheets were all pretty flat, which is actually hard to find.
