We've been in Brazil for the past three weeks of a one month trip, and have used the converter, primarily, to power a small table top fan, and to charge our phones and Ipad devices. It's been a perfect, compact, and easy-to-tote solution. For years, both we, US residents, and our family in Brazil, have resorted to "transformers", (rather heavy), when needing to "drop voltage (220vac to 110vac)" for the many US based appliances and devices we've brought, or were being used here.
