MerrellMen's Jungle Moc
R**A
The most supportive slip-on you can buy.
I bought my first pair of Jungle Mocs in 2002. They long ago became my favorite shoe and I've gone through at least 1 pair a year since then. If I'm not working out or hiking I'm wearing Jungle Mocs whether I'm in a suit and tie or sweatshirt and jeans. You won't find a more supportive or comfortable slip-on. If they ever quit making them I will stockpile 10-20 pairs to make until the end.

I love to wear Merrell Jungle Mocs
I bought a pair of Jungle Mocs five years ago and now they are the only shoes I wear. The cushion insoles are so soft and comfortable that whenever I put on a different shoe I take them off and put the Jungle Mocs back on to make me and my feet happy again. I have wide feet so the Jungle Moc NuBuck, that is usually available in wide sizes, is perfect. The other colors and styles are not always available in wide sizes. A couple of years ago I bought a pair of the black Mocs for dress shoes. I cut off the loop in back and used black shoe dye to blacken the remainder of the colorful loop sewn to the back of the shoe. The Mocs are slip on so no more tying or replacing shoe laces for me! The only possible negative I know of is that when the soles wear down to the point the nubs are worn off the soles are smooth and may be slippery in cold or wet climates. I live in SoCal so I don,t care about that. A friend who lives in Montana bought a pair of the Merrell Shiver Mocs that are insulated and have a sole made for snowy weather. He likes just stepping into the slip on Mocs when going outside. Buying the Mocs on ebay is so great in saving the time, gas and higher prices at the shoe store (who usually don,t have the wide size).

Slippery when wet.
The brown Nubuck version is significantly lighter than the picture suggests, and the tread on the sole looks very different from the pictures, too. Neither is a deal breaker for me, especially once wearing these shoes. The comfort is excellent and neither my plantar fasciitis nor my inflamed metatarsal nerve complained after 10 days of wearing them daily. I have a relatively high span and these fit nearly perfectly. One thing, however, stood out to me in the recent weather (snow). Wet tile becomes a ice skating rink. It's so slippery that even with a slight stance your feet start spreading in some cases. There is no problem on snow or even frozen dirt, but wet tile is dangerous. (Of course ice simply slippery anyway.)

Thes shoes are great for walking and casual wear, not hiking.
I needed a shoe to be dressed up for cruise dining and to walk around town, so I could only pack one shoe, one trainer, and flip flops. They worked perfectly.

Trust me once you find your size you will love these shoes
These seem to run about a half size too small for me but once you find your size you will love these shoes. I have 4 pair of Merrell shoes. One for work with the no slip soles (the regular soles are very slippery on hard wet surfaces) and a couple others I wear for casual dress. Once you put them on, you don't even know you are wearing them. I love them and will continue to buy them. They are well worth the money.

If they fit-you must admit
Great from day one, attractive, durable and fit perfectly, as expected. You certainly could pay more, but you will not get more.If you have not noticed I love these shoes.I recommend to one and all.
