Great for dino lovers.

This book has everything you want to know about dinosaurs. My grandson recently became obsessed. We can learn with this book for hours together and we haven’t even tried the app yet!We particularly love that it shows the dinosaur in scale with a person so we can think about how big each dinosaur really was.I got this for a almost 3 year old but really for myself. He likes looking at the pictures and I like learning the names (which he already knows) and facts.

I bought this for my Dino loving son (2.5) and glad I took the chance. The app is easy to use, you just have to scan the pages with the entire page in view, not just the “scan here” icon. Once you scan the page you can move your phone and the dinosaur or video will still be available to use (as you can see in my photos). We’ve had this book about a week and will play/read it for hours at a time.

Christmas present for a 6year old who is facinated with dinosaurs and probably knows almost all of their names and lots of facts about them.

Best Dino book ever and my kid is a Dino expert!

The book itself is nice, but the main reason for ordering was the app. When I try to access app form my apple store I get a message that this app is not available in my area. I live in the US in the PA/DE area. I would not have purchased this item if I knew the app was not available. My son is 2 and loves dinosaurs. Since he can’t read, I thought this would be a great way for me to help him learn about the different Dinos. The book alone would be good for older kids.

Book came with damaged corners and the cover was scuffed all over. It wouldn’t be so bad if this book was for me but it is a gift for someone else.But the most infuriating part is that nowhere in the listing or in the book does it say that the app is not available in the US! I am now going to have a very disappointed 7yr old nephew who was really looking forward to this book. Without the app, this book is like any other dinosaur book. The app was the selling point. And you can’t find any information that says whether or not this app will ever be available in the US.Now I have to go searching for another product that will actually deliver what it claims.I wish I could give this negative stars.

This book looked really cool for dino obsessed kids like my son. It was advertised as having an AR app. However we discovered that the app is not available in the US. The book has a lot of great info and pics but the app was a big selling point. Also we found some typos in the book ex: pg 30 it says 252 years ago instead of 252 million years ago. There should have been a disclaimer on the book description that the app isn’t available in all countries.
