I purchased some grow lights that I added this thermal paste to. They are the “quantum” style with LEDs on a PCB board and then screwed against a aluminum heat sink. I noticed there wasn’t any thermal paste between the PCB/heat sink so I added some. It was difficult to spread on the 6x12” heat sink and it was very messy (thermal paste doesn’t clean easily). Lots of squeeze out from the sides. The results: 2 degrees F hotter than without thermal paste applied…. It’s so hard to clean and not too much worse thermally so I just left it… I have no idea if this is because of my lack of application skills or this thermal grease isn’t very good. I share this story so you can beware.

I got so tired of buying small little syringes of this stuff, and went looking for a large quantity. I found many types of thermal conductive compound grease and picked this one for it's thermal conductivity rating of >3.17W/m-k. To my surprise, this has an inter lid to help seal the paste and keep it fresh, just remember to stir the stuff for a minute or two with the included stirrer. I am very pleased with the product, from cost, effectiveness and quantity supplied. As with any grease, it can get to be messy, but it is non-toxic and can be cleaned up with any degreaser.

I do a lot of PC/laptop repairing and building so the small syringes don’t really last long but trust me this is what you want if you go through a lot of thermal paste. The best way to use this is to refill your smaller applicators with this because it gets messy easily if you just use it from the jar. Use the spoon to spread it evenly along a CPU or something. Also if you just use the spoon and scrape the sides inside of the jar with the thermal paste it is enough for a CPU you don’t even need to stir it lol. The negative thing about it is if it sits for a while it’ll turn to a liquid and will be really messy so just stir the whole thing every once in a while. It is easy to clean though with isopropyl alcohol. Every PC/laptop I’ve used the paste with has not had any cooling issues so it is effective.

Love it came early it's a silver based thermal paste. When applying to the CPU or GPU I recommend doing a test fit with whichever heat spreader you are using 2 check for over spread of thermal compound with it being a silver based you need to be careful about it come in contact with other parts of the motherboard paragraphs card long as it doesn't come in contact with any connections or contacts on the boards you shouldn't have any problem and you should experience lower temperatures in your system

Easy to apply and works well with the high heat of the cob chips Plus there is way lots left for future applications. Also, my package was lost in transit and the supplier was more than gracious to send a replacement. Great quality, great quantity, great customer service. Yeah, buy this product
