Every once in a while in my Amazon shopping experience I have had the pleasure of getting a truly fantastic deal. This is one of those times when I wish I could give the product six or seven stars. The belts are clearly sturdy and well made. While I have never used the plastic clasps before they seem to be substantial and up to the task. The colors are great - and the fact that you get eight belts for what comes to a bit more than two bucks per belt - each with its own matching clasp - is nearly beyond belief. Canvas belts have been my go-to choice for casual wear for many years and these meet or exceed the quality of any I've ever had. They usually last me for many years, but after a few years the clasps inevitably get scratched and worn and the canvas eventually frays. I think the plastic clasps are a definite improvement as they are certain to keep their clean appearance longer than metal, and the fact that I won't have to remove my belt anymore at airport security is a definite plus. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this purchase. The product is in every way more than I expected or could have even hoped for. They also have my wife's seal of approval and that is always a plus. I will recommend these to anyone without hesitation and can only add that if you pass this up it will be a shame. And just for the record - I have absolutely no ties to the seller or the company, I paid full price for the product, I've never shilled for anyone and I'm not a bot. Just a very, very happy customer.

I've got a couple pair of casual shorts that don't stay up well, so I went searching for a simple belt that might work. I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of belts much like this. This product had the best combination of colors for me, and at just over $2/belt it was a no-brainer to try. The white is more of an off-white, which is fine with me, since the 70s are over. Not sure I'll wear that one anyway. The blue seemed a bit more muted than the picture, but when I took a pic with my phone and compared it with the product pic on my laptop, they matched. I'm not disappointed with it either way. The fit is great, since you don't have to worry about being between holes. Just adjust it exactly where you want, and snap it in. I wonder how long the buckle will last. It's a little bit stiff to snap but it has been flawless, and it stays shut, and isn't a lot of work to unsnap. I think it's going to be fine. I planned to use them just for shorts but as I was heading out for some hiking trail work today I thought I'd try them with my blue jeans rather than get a leather belt sweaty. I didn't give it another thought during 5 hours of work. Came home, went to take off my jeans for a shower, and realized the belt had done its job.

These are great for me to use for work. They provide me with some flexibility for being active. The band part of the belt is very durable, but the plastic buckle tends to bend overtime or from a drastic stretch which turns the buckle unusable for me, because it is very difficult to bend back in place and keep it in a tight buckle. The good thing is that these aren’t too expensive and so I have purchased more to replace the broken buckles. Even though the buckles eventually give, they are still worth the purchase to me for what I need them for. Perhaps I can just find buckle replacements later on.

This set of belts is a great value. I have a bunch of Eddie Bauer women's guide pants and crops that I live in during summer. The pants tend to slide down, especially if I carry stuff in the pockets. These belts are great basic colors and seem very sturdy. The webbing isn't soft or stretchy and it is 1.5 inches wide - so measure your belt loops before buying! I also really like the included white belt for use with white jeans that tend to get looser as the day progresses. The buckle is plastic, but not flimsy. I feel like these will hold up well. They're not 'pretty' but I wear my tops untucked. The buckle is flat, so nothing to snag a shirt or sweater. Very happy with my purchase!

Good value, buckle works well with no fixed holes. Don't know how long they will last, but so far, so good.

Only problem with this set is now I have too many belts. EDIT: And one buckle broke 1st use (not fat and didn't pull hard), minus a star. Appearance: Not as attractive as leather belts of course, but I wear my shirts untucked so don't see the belt anyways, and you've got a color for every occasion. I'll probably never wear the white one unless I can find my Miami Vice linen pants and shoulder-padded jacket from the '80s. Wearing/size/durability: Have only worn these a couple times but so far no issues with belt coming loose, and it's easy to take on and off. I can't speak to durability yet due to the short time, and because the buckle/clip is hard plastic. My waist is 34 and these fit fine with about 5 inches overlap to spare, if you have larger than a 38 or 40 waist I would say these would not be long enough for you. EDIT: Comfort: These are very wide, and not soft at all like a cotton belt, so not very comfortable on the waist. Took off one more star for comfort. Bottom line: for $2.50 a belt can't go wrong, if you want style pay more for something else, if you want a great bargain and just need something to hold your pants up and you're not too big get these. EDIT: took off 2 stars from first 5 start review, minus 1 for durability (buckle broke) and one more for comfort (wide and "chaffy" on the waist, not soft at all.

The best belt & buckle for sure. In beginning I was concerned about the composition plastic material, especially the strength of the small pivot pins. But mine have held up with no breakage. Be sure to purchase these heavy duty military belts. Others have thinner belt material. Easy to adjust tightness and easy to un-buckle. I have bought and tried many belt buckle styles. These are my favorite. I threw away all my other work belts.

I was a little skeptic in trying to find a quality belt on Amazon. I purchased these Cosco pants and shorts, and all the plastic buckles on their belts are breaking apart. So I needed a quick replacement. I saw this product and noticed it had great comments and a good rating. With a reasonable price I figured it was low risk to order the 8-pack. I was more interested in black, gray and green belts, and didn't really have a need for the other colors. But when the price is great, I figured it was worth it. Maybe I can repurpose the other belts for something else? So when I received them, I was really amazed that they did in fact seem like quality plastic and material. With them closed, I tried pulling them apart (with reasonable force) and they held together no problem, not even slipping a tiny bit. Wow, amazing!! I have worn several belts for a few months now and I am 100% satisfied with everything!! The quality, the plastic, the material, how they easily fasten, that they don't slip. And by now, I trust they will endure for a long time. Note that I'm not skinny (a little overweigh [5' 9" at 245 lbs]), so I was afraid I would end up with belts that are too short/small. But no, these fit really well. So I do recommend this product. Recommendation to seller: Why don't you sell individual colors, with a discount if you buy multiple? But have an 8-pack of more 'neutral' colors like black and grey? Who requires blue, brown and white? I would assume some do, but they probably won't want the green, black and grey? Anyway, you get the idea!!
