Perfect!
I’m a huge fan of this corn. It goes perfect with Peruvian cebiche or alone just like a snack. This is not the classic corn, it’s the smaller version but it’s still yummy and crunchy. It takes about 10 - 15 mins to cook over high heat. Add oil, move constantly and do not let go the pot lid or it will pop in your face. Take it out of the pot as soon as it looks ready. Add salt and enjoy. Yum 😋

I love it
I call it "canchita", great for Peruvian ceviche and also as a plain snack. I let it soak in water over night and strain the water next day, put it on the airfried (f°400/ 20 minutes) and it's done.

my favorite
This is my favorite kind, i prefer it over smaller cancha. Being peruvian american when family visits they would bring me this but i could never have it year round. Now I can make it myself, it’s expensive but worth it.

Great Cancha Corn!!!
Love this Peruvian snack! roasting the corn is super easy! It's like eating the corn kernels at the bottom of popcorn only softer! I love it!

Do not buy this product
The first picture is out of the bag, obviously desiccated. The second picture is after 45 minutes in the pressure cooker at high, that was after 24 hours of soaking. I’ve cooked many posole corn before, including blue & red corn. All have cooked in about 20 minutes. Buying this product is a good way to waste time and quality food that is part of the recipe.

Love this stuff.
Was introduced to this by my Ecuadorian relatives. Addictive. Cooking is a tiny chore, but so worth it.
