Skechers Men's Energy After Burn Sneaker

For many years I faithfully wore the Nike Air Walk and then, low and behold, they stopped making them! They were one of very few "wide" shoes that Nike made -- plus they were all leather, very light, provided great support and were super comfortable. So, once they were discontinued, I was on the search for a replacement.... I didn't think of Skechers much as a "serious" brand, mostly because I didn't know much about them, but it turns out they do sell some wide fitment shoes, and these, for me, are an absolute great fit! I tried a pair, a few years back, and have faithfully replaced them every time, having once again found a pair of shoes I really love. They are very similar to the Air Walks, in comfort and durability, although, sadly, they don't last as long as the Nike's did. Then again, they are about half the price! So, I don't feel too bad having to replace these more often. I'd say a pair lasts six to eight months, where the Nike's used to last more than a year, but, as I say, these are a lot more affordable to replace, so I guess it kind of works out, cost wise. For me, the most important thing is having a pair of shoes that are comfortable, versatile and look good enough to wear to work with good Levi's and a sport shirt, yet can also be used for walks or even light hikes. Since they are all white I have the same problem I had with the white Air Walks, which is that they tend to get dirty kind of quickly, but, like the Air Walks, they also clean up beautifully with some shoe cleaner and a bit of Sneaker whitener, so they tend to look great until they simply wear out -- in my case it is usually the side that eventually blows out -- which was the same on the Air Walks, but just didn't happen as quickly. Even so, six to eight months of life is pretty good to get out of them, considering I wear these pretty often throughout the average week. So, I'm a fan now, and in fact will be getting a second pair of these to have around, since they also come in blue and white, and that way I don't have to clean these up as often, and that's actually an improvement over the Air Walks, since they only came in the white or solid black. With these, I can now have an all white pair, and now can also have a more "casual" sneaker for other looks or outfits or uses, and, since two pairs is not much more than one pair of what the Air Walks use to cost, I'm actually a bit ahead of the game. I'm very happy with these, and I'd certainly recommend them highly!

Quality for the Price . Skechers Sport size 8,1/2 I would give a 10 if I could. I'm always impressed. Looking for a well biuld longlasting everyday shoe? This is it. I have lost count of how many Skechers of this type I have had. These are all-day comfortable and stable for added balance . The entire shoe surrounds the foot securely ..no lose anything . The Size is perfect, and the sole is thick everywhere espeaciall'y the heel. This is Rugged Strong construction that lasts. I don't like flimsy, poorly built shoes. This is Quality. A Strong construction that lasts and lasts . I'm easy on my shoes, and generally, I get about four years of wear out of every pair. Skechers also makes two other work shoes with and without steel-toes, similar in this same black design. Those are also great. If you're retired and a bit older, like me, these will give you that added balance your needing and of course there's the wider variety. No one forced me to write this. I am just another satisfied customer who is glad to catch a break over the present high cost of footwear.

I have been a huge fan of Sketchers for awhile now; their quality and craftsmanship are superb and their shoes are built to last! I am pretty tough on my shoes, and demand a lot from them. I need a shoe that offers sturdy support, as my back is pretty much a wuss, and will freak out about the littlest things, including lack of shoe support. Sketchers has always delivered everything I need in a shoe. I was excited to try this design, because I am on my feet a lot at work (I work 12-hour shifts on concrete floors at a manufacturing plant). From what I've read online, these shoes were ideal for my needs, because they offered the support I need for both my back and my feet. I also like the fact that these shoes have a very aggressive tread, as I do a lot of outdoor activities including hiking and camping, and I expect my everyday shoe to hold up for the task (even though I have dedicated hiking boots, sometimes you want a lighter-weight option, especially when you're carrying 60-80 pounds on your back). When these shoes arrived, I was impressed with the amount of tread and grip they provided. It wasn't like the dinky little tread you see on most shoes, it looked like they took a tire, cut it to shape, and put it on the bottom of the shoe - Sketchers meant business when they designed this shoe! The material is warm, but lets your feet breathe, so your feet stay nice and warm in the winter. I can't say how they are in the summer, as I didn't own them in the summer months. Inside, there is a lot of padding all around, especially in the tongue of the shoe, which is nice - it gives a real nice snug fit to keep the shoe in place without having to really strap down the lacing tight. There is a huge amount of padding in back on the bottom for your heels, which, for me, is where the problem comes in. For most people, this would be a very nice feature, but for some reason, it ended up hurting my heels pretty badly, almost to the point where I didn't want to walk from one end of the house to the other. After wearing them for just one 12-hour shift, my feet were screaming, and all I wanted to do was either sit back in a chair with my feet up or lay in bed, just so I wouldn't be on my feet. I understand that every pair of shoes needs to be broken in, and during that time the shoes can be a bit uncomfortable, but not this much. While I absolutely like these shoes and have absolutely nothing against them (other than the heel issue mentioned above), I am forced to return them to Amazon. Please remember that this is not the case for most people - my feet are extremely picky to begin with, and simply put, these shoes just aren't for me. I really like the quality and materials that Sketchers used to design this shoe, and I can honestly say that I believe they are a shoe that will hold up to use and abuse for quite a long time. Despite them not being the right shoe for my feet, I would still highly recommend them, but be aware that there is a large amount of padding in the heel area, and will lift the heel area of your foot upwards somewhat. I don't hold anything against Sketchers or these shoes. In fact, once my return is processed, I plan on buying a new pair of my go-to shoes, which are the Sketchers Men's Stamina Nuovo sneakers. All around, great shoe, just not for me (unfortunately).

I got these sneakers. I get them in men’s because I have a bunion, but they are so comfortable. They’re so looks like it’s hard but it’s not real. It feels like you’re walking on a cloud and they’re so easy to clean. I just take a damp cloth with a little bit of soap and I wipe them off and they look like they’re brand new. They’re excellent when it comes to foot protection because the leather is so durable that it protect your feet As far as size goes, they run right to size So these are good for either men or women if you want a comfortable sneaker for what we pay for these sneakers they’re absolutely more than worth it I would recommend these sneakers to anybody Skechers makes one of the best sneakers

I purchased this men's shoe after being unable to find a woman's shoe wide enough to accommodate my wide, athletic feet. I bought a 6.5 standard--not wide and it fir me nicely. My toes do not hurt and the balls of my feet do not push the shoe out, decreasing the probability of busting out of them. I am woman's 7.5 wide which is a men's 6 regular. But, they did not come in 6, so I got the 6.5 and although a bit long are great. So I kept them and just wear thick socks with them. I like that these shoes are 100% leather too. They Lace-up, have a Shock-absorbing supportive midsole, a Flexible rubber traction outsole Have a cushioned comfort insole and a 11/2 inch heel. The slight heel makes them better to stand in over long periods of time and for me, are more comfortable to walk and jog in. The shoes are comfortable, a good fit, a good quality (been running in them for 6 weeks). The build and shoe quality are good for todays shoes. Moreover, they look good and the weight is light, but not featherweight. One thing I would like to feel is a more cushioned insole. When running they are fine--not hard, but a thicker dense cushion insole wold be beneficial. The outer sole gives well and I can not feel the sharp rocks I run on. This shoe is a good value for your money and I will buy again. I hope I helped you in making a decision on your next pair of sneakers. Happy running.

I have been looking for a good pair of comfortable boot type sneaker lace up not slip on I work in maintenance walking long distances I feel secure non slip puncture proof, I've tried several different similar shoes. These are exactly what I was looking for durability and comfort, great ankle support lightweight my feet no longer throb then get home from work I am absolutely pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended if you are looking for similar purpose shoe. Worth every penny

Great shoes, but Amazon shipped the wrong size. I have ordered these shoes many times over the last 10 years and I find them comfortable to wear.

As a guy with big feet this is a decent option for this price. The grip is good on smooth surface and its comfy for the gym but not for long sprints
