First, I tried building my own shooting bench. Weighing in at 214 pounds, and costing $160, it was admittedly awesome. Nonetheless, I felt like something was missing; I bought this on a whim to see what it could do. The good: - Portable by one person: Not _easily_ portable, but portable. Fully assembled, I can lift it and carry it a hundred yards without too much trouble. Disassembled, my wife can move it ... a bit. More than enough, at any rate. - Pivoting table: I can spin and acquire a new target in under a second. - Pivoting seat: Easy to plop down and find a perfect, comfortable shooting position. - Stability: No perceptible wobble, perfectly sturdy even with heavy calibers (and heavy shooters). - Adjustability: Can be adjusted to sit level on mild slopes (maybe up to 5 degree slopes, I wouldn't feel safe using it on any steeper slope anyway) - Weather proof: I contacted customer support who confirmed that this model could be left outdoors in pretty much any weather. It's been left out in harsh winters and harsher summers, and is no worse for wear. - Customer service: Phenomenal. Responded to every question within hours. - Completely assembles/disassembles in about 10 minutes. - Padded, comfortable seat; take your time shooting, because you'll have no trouble sitting for hours. - Small lip around the table edge, prevents loose rounds from getting away. - Accessories: Comes with feet for a bench rest and some supports to help with cleaning. Was about to throw them out at first, but gave them a shot (pun) and have quickly learned to appreciate the usefulness. The bad: - You can't be infinitely light and infinitely sturdy - something has to give. This bench sacrifices portability for sturdiness, and I think it was a good trade. - No obvious place to store the accessories. I bought a $2 nylon bag, which works well. - Table surface is as large as can reasonably be expected (maybe a bit under 2x3 feet), but still quickly becomes crowded with shooting paraphernalia. - Made in China Conclusion: - Simple but really well thought out; shines in the details. So good, I'm buying a second. Very highly recommended.

Shipped very fast; took 4 days to arrive at my home. The delivery guy asked me if I needed a dolly. I asked why? Is this not the correct item I purchased? Boy!!! It was the correct item, and light it is NOT! This thing weighs as much as a gym set. So if you get this rifle table you better have a gym membership. The instructions for assembling were easy. Only thing it did not instruct/explain was the seat. But it was self explanatory. There are two washers and two locking nuts for the mounting of the seat. Now the allen wrench to go with the allen bolts for the nylon table top; the wrench did not fit. Good thing I have an allen wrench set with my tool box. Now the assembly of the rifle table as a whole. It went up in 5 mins. Durability is a 5 star. This thing will out last your childrens, children's, children's, children's....okay you get my point. This thing is built and solid like a tank. Quality: I give it a 5 star. This thing is worth the money. 2 years ago this thing used to cost around $300.00 dollars. I was leary back then to spend that much money. But now that I took the plunge, I am glad I did. It was worth every penny. If your going to take the plunge and spend the money, buy the bag too. You'll be glad you did; otherwise you'll be making a few trips back and forth to assemble it at your shooting site.

Considering my background in steel fabrication, I'm contemplating modifying the seat to allow for lateral adjustments and possibly adding a backrest for extra comfort.Despite this minor adjustment, I highly recommend this shooting table to fellow enthusiasts. The quality speaks for itself, reflecting the premium materials used in its construction. For those who appreciate robust gear, this table is worth every penny. Just bear in mind that its solid build means it comes with some weight – over 60 lbs of heavy-duty steel. I'm already eyeing the carrying bag accessory to transport this "beast" with ease. As a satisfied owner of multiple Caldwell products, I can vouch for their exceptional quality.

Always cautious about new items, I was surprised by how sturdy and well-made this product is. It’s quite heavy, which I appreciated, and setting it up was straightforward thanks to the smart design. I use it in my garage for some DIY projects, and it’s stable and substantial. The only thing I wish it had more adjustability for different tasks. Overall, I’m really happy with how helpful this has been in my workshop.

I just got my Stable Table and it is stable however I ran into problems first thing. The legs have shims welded on that make it so the leg won't fit into the gusset, not even close. I had to grind much of the shims away to get the legs to fit easily. Also the table is too tall by 3" at least. A standard commercial table hieght is 34" off the floor to the table top so I had to cut 3" off the main tube. I may cut off more making it even more stable. I happen to have a metal shop so it was no big deal. Also you may want to get some straps in order to bundle most of it up for transport. It is heavy, to heavy for me to pack in one piece at my age. After doing the modifications above I LIKE IT. Beats the hell out of trying to use the roof of my car to site in. The ground is far better but my knees don't like that at all. As far as leveling goes just use wooden shims they don't dig into the ground. What's really good is you can adjust the seat angle to the table where ever you like it. Also it would be a lot more professional if it had feet instead of raw tube in the dirt. I guess that would be to costly. Things aren't made anymore like they used to be. Chris, from Idaho

Pas assez large pour être à l'aise et tirer les coudes en appui, si on la laisse dehors elle montre des traces de rouille sur le pied (pas grave). Donc un peu cher pour ce qu'elle est vraiment. Il faudrait des options pour avoir des plateaux différents. Par contre le réglage de l'assiette est simple et efficace, la table est assez lourde pour ne pas bouger, le principe de bénéficier du poids du tireur est simple et intelligent. C'est plus du "transportable" que du "portable", mais on ne pas tout avoir, stabilité par le poids et facilité de transport. Je m'en sers souvent et je l'aime bien finalement. Il est vraiment dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de choix pour le plateau.
