## Description

The high quality Fasco Condenser Fan Motor (D7909 ) is a single phase motor with a 0.5 inch shaft diameter and 27 inch leads. The Condenser Fan Motor features a Belly Band, Extended Studs Shaft End and Lead End, and Thermally Protected and is CSA Certified and UL Recognized. Please be aware that it is recommended to use saftey equipment and to disconnect the appliance from all utilities prior to any service or repair. Please refer to your owners manual to confirm part numbers and for instructions as some repairs require a trained service professional to complete.

Review: Perfect replacement in a 25 year old American Standard unit - This was a perfect match to for the motor I removed from my ancient but still working American Standard AC condenser. The shaft needed to be cut down, along with the mounting bolts, but that was easy to do with a hacksaw. The hardest part was getting the fan blades off the old motor....but penetrating oil and a large hammer did the trick!

This was a perfect match to for the motor I removed from my ancient but still working American Standard AC condenser. The shaft needed to be cut down, along with the mounting bolts, but that was easy to do with a hacksaw. The hardest part was getting the fan blades off the old motor....but penetrating oil and a large hammer did the trick!
