Jebao MOW Smart Wave Maker with LCD Display Controller for Saltwater Tank Magnetic Base (MOW-16)

Jebao pumps are pretty strong, I had to downsize to this in pairing with my jebao 120 gyre type pump. Highly highly recommend, the value is excellent. It has locked up on me once after being absurdly clogged with algae, but dismantling and freeing up the parts from the shaft only took about 1 minute then it was good as new.

Have had many jebao wavemakers in the past. They worked flawless and I expected these to be the same. DEAD wrong there! Nearly impossible to connect to your WIFI, once you finally do get it connected, they will not sync together. They start flashing and say motherboard failure to connect. Tried this with 3 brand new sets (6 wavemakers)... tried to contact the company and never get any response. The Jebao APP is completely worthless also. Jebao seriously missed the mark here. Have already returned 4 wavemakers because of issue's. Don't waste your money on these if you want to use more then 1. (Update) they never would sync together and finally the screen went out on one after a few months. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this one. Buy another model or brand and save yourself the frustration. Company is absolutely worthless when you have an issue and will do nothing to help you.

Excellent product. Love how I can control it on app with WIFI from my cell phone and can integrate and connect other ones for my 60 gallon reef tank. Great product. Most of my products are all WIFI Jabao. Bang for the buck here! Buy it . You won't be disappointed.

Cuando se instala la aplicación para efectuar la programación la programación c no se puede poner, ese modo solo está disponible en el modo manual, eso la verdad no me gustó, sobretodo porque la programe pero no deja manipularla manual y no se cómo quitarle la programación para volver a colocarla manual , de resto me parece un buen equipo,

I’ve used just about every power head you can imagine over the past 10 years. This is severely underpowered and is no where near the GPH/LPH rating in the description and on the pump. Compared to a similarly rated Tunze (as an example) it’s 1/4 as powerful. You will need a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi device for this to work. I use an old iPad specifically for connecting devices like this then you can switch back to your phone or more modern device once it’s connected. You have to LONG HOLD the pump to enter setup. Then press the center button along the bottom, choose master, and from there you can program it. Click the picture of the 3.5” floppy disk from 1990 to save your new confit. Took me a minute but I see a lot of reviews of people being frustrated by this so I thought I should mention it. It’s solid and updates itself much faster than my Hydros Wave Engine+2xXF350 Gyre’s (but not as fast as Ecotech MPxx’s. This is especially important when trying to create a wave or just to dial things in. The actual controller is cheap garbage. The buttons are difficult to press and don’t always work. There’s no feedback and the buttons stick. The feed button is reliable which is honestly the only one you’ll need but don’t plan on using or programming this with the controller or you’ll pull your hair out.

This pump was amazing great flow great build great controller BUT after a couple of weeks I got a ERROR 01 code and now pump won’t turn on… I have cleaned out the pump made sure Propeller was not obstructed and still nothing

Lots of power and super silent. Switched out a Nero 5 for this because I can aim it a lot better. Very happy.

First off I recieved a used product. The box had been retaped, the powerhead had salt creep on it, the remote was broken, and the screen on the remote was scratched. I processed the return with Amazon but decided to try plugging it in to see if I liked it to begin with. I spent 30 (unsuccessful) minutes trying to get the app to connect to my phone! Then I realized that the remote doesn't even work. The only button I got to KIND OF work was the pause/power button. However, it stayed off for all of 2 seconds before it would kick back on. Cannot adjust flow, cannot put it into feed mode, cannot change mode... Nothing Basically a $116 paper weight. I am now wishing instead of a replacement I would have just gotten a refund.

The wave maker is powerful, but wow the controller and the app and hooking it up are so unfriendly and horrible. I am considering returning this. I will play around with it a little longer but wow its not user friendly at all
